Yeah I looked up some stuff and the enemy Sniper apparently drops some materials I wanted but it said the Sniper only appears in worlds I haven't been to yet and I already had Sniper in my beastiary thing...

SO I am confused on that and would prefer to speak to real humans

I've only played the base games 1, 2, 3 and also, chain of memories and bbs so I wouldn't say I'm the most hardcore of kh fans but I do like the game

I'm more into the FF side of KH though

Oh yeah I'm super interested to know what that animal mask organization is and what they have power over, what could be stronger than organization 13 and their power over darkness?

Animal mask people are the Foretellers, from the an ancient period in KH history called the Age of Fairy Tales. They are incredibly powerful wielders, and you can get an idea of it from watching their fight scenes in the Backcover movie that was in the 2.8 collection

The Foretellers, and their Master, have time traveled to the present, so we’ll be seeing more of them in the future.

It's worth noting that the FF-Side has never been as relevant to KH as it was in KH2

They weren't even supposed to be that much of a focus of the franchise

I was wondering what felt off the entire game and didn't realize it until I was watching some clips of kh2 combat

Cloud and Seph went to do their thing in KH2 and haven’t been seen since. Everybody else has just been chilling in Radiant Garden

Squall/Leon, Cid, Yuffie, Aerith, Tifa, Yuna, Rikku and Paine will all be in Hollow Bastion (Radiant Garden) as that's their homeworld. They had no reason to be overly involved in the story

Cloud and Sephiroth disappeared to parts unknown after the Sephiroth battle in KH2. Though the writer of that scenario has said it wasn't really meant to go anywhere

Auron faded away back into pyreflies after KH2 was over

KH was never intended to feature FF characters as a core facet of the franchise

They were added later into the planning stages in places of what would have been original characters made uniquely for the franchise

It's why the KH1 FF cast only superficially resemble their namesakes

They were just kinda thrown in with base character traits in place of OCs

Aerith wasn't even meant to be there, she was originally gonna be the girl from Parasite Eve

As the series went on they cut back on their presence to highlight the original characters and world more. In KH1 they were pretty much just set-dressing, and KH2 needed to follow up on what they had been up to. But after that it was just kind of whatever

We know that Leon was planned to be in KH3 but he was cut for time, along with the Fairy Godmother. Then they along with Aerith, Yuffie and Cid were added into the Re:Mind DLC for cameos

Hopefully they phase more of the disney out over time too. I mean is Mickey going to keep being central to the plot with KH's closed and stuff?
