I saw a post on Twitter of some fan art of Sora singing to Kairi and Kairi laughing because she thinks he is a terrible singer and one of the replies was that Sora should stick to dancing and cooking. What are your thoughts on this?

If a Japanese VA sings in-game, their English counterpart has to sing too. And there’s nobody on the English cast who I’m particularly excited to hear sing.

All I know about the Japanese dub is that it's pretty bad outside of a few select characters (yes, I consider Sora one of them)

But I thought the Japanese version was the original version of the game?

Maybe it’s just me and my complete lack of an understanding of their language and culture, but from what I’ve heard of it the Japanese VA is nowhere near as good at conveying tone and emotion.

I believe that KH2 led to Irino starting his music career four years after the release in Japan as that is when he started making music
