if light could over come darkness, and kh is basically a destructive force kinda like darkness wouldn't it theoretically be possible for someone of pure light to try harnessing the power of KH entirely into themself

doubt it would be a story used in kh4+, but just a thought

Isn’t the RoD a world in itself? ‘Dark World’? KH can reach all worlds, as far as we know.

Here’s something I’m curious about. Xehanort knew KH would purge the worlds and everything would be reborn through darkness. How exactly did he plan to survive that process? Was he just thinking that with the X-Blade he would possess the necessary power?

I think Xehanort was prepared to either die, find somewhere to hide; an escape plan, or maybe he thought he'd be strong enough to survive some how.

Since the world got rebuilt by survivors once before he probably figured he could be there to witness or do the same.

Perhaps he was confident his heart would survive the journey and that whatever form he took after the purge would be capable of remembering everything that happened.

The whole “someone to dictate their destiny” spiel reeks of god complex. Maybe KH could’ve made him immortal.
