I don’t think it’s a bad game or anything but it’s definitely the closest KH has come to having a bad game. Take that for what it’s worth.

Well combat was a hit and miss, yeah the card system was interesting at the time, but half of it felt like it wasn't the most user friendly either. Glad they reinvented it slightly for BBS, Recoded, and 3D for Command decks instead.

That’s my biggest criticism. Card system has a huge learning curve.

I loved sora's combat a little bit better than riku's. I think sora had the most interesting combinations and more moves to it. Riku's was mostly just dark firaga

card system is annoying when you're first learning it, but once you got it, you got it. but i didn't find it very interesting, even with all the combos you could come up with

command decks are the better version, i agree. although i will always prefer KH 2 combat system (haven't played 3 yet so idk how different the system is)

KH2 got FM as refinement in a way

Ergo it becomes a fan favorite and for good reason I'll admit

Personally I still love the rustic and more RPG nature of KH1 but like, even with its FM it got a little boost

None of the handheld really got that same treatment so CoM stays the same even in ReCoM, actually more broken lol

The problem with KH2 is it lets you get away with too much. There aren’t really any bad strats in KH2, and that tells me it’s poorly balanced.
