I still hate the way that is worded to this day, it’s like what does that even mean? They can be seen by other people, they clearly had emotions after like, a week, they can leave whatever world they spawned in to, and they even get special powers upon becoming one so it’s like wtf

dark negative energy allows for the heart to go into it and become a heartless

which is different than pureblood heartless

Emblem is when a person loses their heart to darkness, ergo the KH1 guy
vs Purebloods which spawn out of the world's dark energy itself

and spread around to allow for emblems to spawn

Yeah I mean as far as I could tell in KH1, every world had a door that lead to its heart, (which is also apparently a thing that was never touched upon after lol) it woulda been nice to see more of those or what the “hearts” actually are or look like
