A spinoff would be clearly separated from the other games, like new characters with little to no references to past games

ME Andromeda is more akin to a spinoff by example

Gaming journalists often call them spinoff

You'll have to visit them all for materials

It's only cause to get Ultima you gotta synth all the other stuff
