I don't entirely agree with Xehanort's redemption, but I think it's an...acceptable conclusion to the saga.If he were kept "canon" just for the sake of having a recurring villain, that would be another situation entirely because it would be an insult to everyone who had to deal with him.But now, Xehanort is out of the story (hopefully), Kairi is being given more focus (hopefully), and Nomura is free to start from scratch and pursue new ideas with the plot.
