Specifically the cinematography

This also applies to KH2 btw

But whenever you meet a new FF character, the camera always starts from the feet and pans upwards, or it starts from a point where you won't be able to recognise the character

Then it cuts away, you hear their voice, and then AFTER you see the face

It's really great, constantly keeps a new player in suspense
