well yeah he used all of them, but in an attempt to meet his goals. that doesnt mean he didnt have some form of respect for the ones he used

i still think he had some respect for some of them, not enough to care if they died but had some respect for their goals

he was very self absorbed though and his character rarely showed that kind of feeling towards his subordinates
