hawk222_1550644792 16 Posted January 5 cole, while you're here: would it be too problematic to identify this as autism? like, not as a joke or anything, since this sort of behavior has been a known trait of autism for a while now?
ElectriCole 4 Posted January 5 I can see the connection, but I'm gonna let it slide since it isn't in direct reference or insult towards autismSorry hawk
Sam N 10 Posted January 5 Speaking as someone on the spectrum and as someone who regularly works with children on the spectrum, lining up objects like this is a very typical autistic behavior. It's often done because autistic people desire as much control and order in their lives as possible because of their rigid thought patterns. This can even apply to trivial matters, including--yes--how fries are arranged on one's table. While I don't go to this extreme, I myself prefer all the fries to stay in the container. It bothers me if one is loose lol.

Snakeskin94 13 Posted January 5 It's only an insult if you think it's an isnult; that's the power of words, Birdman.

hawk222_1550644792 16 Posted January 5 ah, but it can also be an insult if someone else believes it to be one, regardles of what i believe, and so i'm careful with my words as a result
