i specifically waited until we could fully upgrade bgb before working on other keyblades. of course, i ran out of speed gems and had to wait a couple weeks, but it's still my first only +50 blade

(although i had been upgrading other keyblades. it was like, once jp got bgb to +50, that's when i started saving)

For each five levels, we just needed ten for each attribute gem at some point.

I now have all of my Proud Mode keyblades maxed (+50) and and working on the starter monocolors.
