maybe, or he doesn't come along for some reason, like someone need to stay back to make sure it goes well

honestly, the fact that darkness knows so much about the tower and what's inside implies that they are familiar with it, which i take to mean that darkness is a foreteller (my munny's on ava)

also, we know that the way to go to the future is via an ark traveling a light speed, but this causes a person's body to disappear leaving them only as a heart. this checks out well enough since maleficent disappeared to the past after her defeat in kh1, then presumably returned to the future by the time of kh2. people started to remember her, allowing her to reform her body in the present

since ven is confirmed to have come from the past (or at least, according to what we know), this means he likely came the same way: his body disappeared and his heart eventually reformed his body. but that's a problem: someone would've had to be there to remember him which would allow him to reform. could it be luxu? we know that he traveled to the future the long way, body-hopping from person to person

or is it possible that multiple people came all at once (ven, lauriam, and skuld, for example), and their hearts were able to remember each other despite none of them having bodies? hearts are mysterious things, after all

and on top of everything else, why is it snowing all of a sudden? is that something that's possible in this data world, or is there some weirdness happening? is it even snow, or could it be something else?
