It was nice getting the Dalmatians b/c I had at least three new medals that I didn't want to sell that put me over capacity, but I was able to sell the single Dalmatian medals since I didn't need them anymore.

Dark Road will be unavailable until version 5.0.0 is available in September

Well, they have to convert (and finish) the game from being online to offline and that in itself takes time

I'm a bit relieved the app will at least take up less space and the app data for the other game is much more compressed.

Jewels will be moot and there will be no medal album viewer. Most, if not all, avatar parts will become available in an avatar creator w/ our avatar reset. That includes Union Armor and we can pick any keyblade at any level for viewing. Make sure to use the save game data option on the 29th before 18:00 PDT to save your records, @AutobotWheeljack.
