Nah, most likely MoM's heart since the KBW between 7 vs 13 prob unlocked the 13 / 7 locks around the box and that is why he was in rikus dreams, it's possible he can be a phantom ???

Luxord said that the box contained "hope", and that's how the crystals are always referred to. So... Maybe??

You'd wanna seal that bad boy up real good because they can turn ppl into l'Cie.

They can also erase people's memories of the people who die in the war, so it reminds me of how the MoM erased the wielders' memories of the keyblade war. We never did get an explanation for that.

Oh yeah, "May your heart be your guiding key" is the new "May the Crystal guide you."

So, like, now I'm making an assumption on an assumption so it's getting worse, but... Let's assume that's right. What if his focus was to keep the Crystal safe? (That's one of the main objectives of Class Zero.) So he sets up this whole plan just to protect the box's contents. Once its future is perfectly secured, he turns to crystal and sublimates (shatters) and gets reincarnated. Then I guess it's Demyx's eternal struggle from here on out whether or not he submits to the Crystal to reclaim his power. .......This could be fanfic territory. I've just had this thought in my head and I'm like... Wow. Neat.

Type-0 l'Cie are a bit different from the ones in XIII that everybody's familiar with. They serve the Crystal willingly and each get their own unique power that will help them fulfill whatever the Crystal wants them to do. (In the end, the focus always relates to protecting the Crystal, even if the power they were given also benefits everyone else. One could say that the Crystal itself represents pride. Huehue.) It could give them strength, make them smart, give them the power to control monsters, etc etc. Will this information be relevant? Who knows. But it's worth knowing, just in case. lol

i only have 2 real contributions to all of this

first, i'm pretty sure the whole "controlling the structure of scala ad caelum" thing was because they were in this sort of pocket dimension that xehanort had full control over, not the actual scala (as i understand it, anyway). so i don't think it can normally be controlled like that (though there is some evidence of it being possible due to land of departure being contorted into castle oblivion, but i digress)

second, i don't think it was the mom who removed the memories of the keyblade war. he had already disappeared before any of that happened (according to back cover), so it would more likely be something that the new foretellers did (ephemer, skuld, brain, etc.)

side note: type-0 is a fantastic game and i'm disappointed by the lack of follow up, especially given that phoenix/samurai teaser after the credits
