I mean, Roxas and Naminé never got to interact in KH3 and neither did Riku and Xion - despite KH2 showing Naminé promising to tell Roxas everything and despite Riku meeting Xion again in DDD (it was never shown in the Keyblade Graveyard that he remembered her, unlike Roxas and Axel).
