And as a result,devs would need to work longer on those versions of games

But when you look at how much money he lost for the company, I think the people in charge wanted to let him go and just didnt want him looking bad while doing it

The DLC's for ff15 cost so much and really didnt make a return

Perhaps.. But I would think it made money,more than enough. But hoenstly,I don't blame the losses on him.

FFXV's developemet was a mess,from start to finish

Mind you,I liek FFXV

But I can't deny that they made a mess of it. From Wada to the current president

I honestly am kind of upset that ardyn is the last one, as it paints the game as being kind of pointless in the end, which makes the whole journey through all the dlc, the anime shorts, the movies, the 2d brawlers, it makes all of it feel like none of it mattered.

ACtually,if you paid attention to the DLC,it seems it was leading up to something major... It seemed to be implying that their fates could be changed.

And i have a feeling the other two DLCs would have lead unto that further.

Like 15 was supposed to be the vesus to 13, a story built basically like an antithesis to the story of 13, and it ends up being a similar story in episode ardyn, just one where the good guys all lose.

and i agree the other dlc would've likely been more conclusive, but even then, how did this "fix" the story of 15, by changing it? thats not fixing, that rewriting.

I don't think that's the right way to describe it. They simply provided more of the context that was missing,and likely from the original concepts,i'm sure,as Tabata was doing his best to follow the work Nomura had managed to do.

Rewriting implies that there wasn't something more going on,but the DLC basically served its purpose in telling us whyy Adryn is how he is

But even in the trailers released for 15, bahamut isnt depicted as evil.

the omen trailer(which is semi in the game of 15) has "Bahamut explain he only looks forward to one mans death, then he can rest" it sounds like he wants to end this, he wants this to be done, it doesnt sound like someone who actively caused all these events to happen.

Its like tabata changed his mind about what the gods were doing in this story when making the dlc
