King Arthur13 51 Posted April 13, 2019 PS3 was a pretty flawed system
Amaterasu_1549906707 19 Posted April 13, 2019 The biggest complaints of the Ps2 and PS3 for devs is that they were very complication logic code systems? And as a result, devs would need to work longer on those versions of gamesPS4, they managed to simply just enough, for the most part
King Arthur13 51 Posted April 13, 2019 but even ps1 game disks worked in PS3 which was pretty awesome
Amaterasu_1549906707 19 Posted April 13, 2019 Oh yeah, for sure, but that’s cause Ps1 was simple

Inçendyne 31 Posted April 13, 2019 There's an issue w/ disc switching for multi-disc Playstation games played on PS3, though.

King Arthur13 51 Posted April 13, 2019 Square doesnt have enough developers anymore.they need good devs that can do the stuff the other directors dont have time for
Amaterasu_1549906707 19 Posted April 13, 2019 But if we do that, who else will people blame of course... ?
King Arthur13 51 Posted April 13, 2019 Like tabata may have screwed up 15, but the guy could've worked on side projects
Amaterasu_1549906707 19 Posted April 13, 2019 He did his best, conisdering the mess Square madeLike, legitPour one out for Tabata
King Arthur13 51 Posted April 13, 2019 also i am 99 percent certain square walked up to tabata and said "you either retire from the company of your own volition, or we will fire you."
Amaterasu_1549906707 19 Posted April 13, 2019 Nah,dude,it sounds like he 100% quit of his violitionAll the bs from the fans, from the stress of FFXV...I think it was too much
King Arthur13 51 Posted April 13, 2019 But when you look at how much money he lost for the company, I think the people in charge wanted to let him go and just didnt want him looking bad while doing itThe DLC's for ff15 cost so much and really didnt make a return
Amaterasu_1549906707 19 Posted April 13, 2019 Perhaps.. But I would think it made money, more than enough. But hoenstly,I don't blame the losses on him.FFXV's developemet was a mess, from start to finishMind you,I liek FFXVBut I can't deny that they made a mess of it. From Wada to the current presidentVarious engine mishaps, teams being shuffled around constantly, company ideaologies being shifted twice...
King Arthur13 51 Posted April 13, 2019 I honestly am kind of upset that ardyn is the last one, as it paints the game as being kind of pointless in the end, which makes the whole journey through all the dlc, the anime shorts, the movies, the 2d brawlers, it makes all of it feel like none of it mattered. Amaterasu_1549906707 19 Posted April 13, 2019 ACtually,if you paid attention to the DLC,it seems it was leading up to something major... It seemed to be implying that their fates could be changed. And i have a feeling the other two DLCs would have lead unto that further.Sadly,we'll never get that.. King Arthur13 51 Posted April 13, 2019 Like 15 was supposed to be the vesus to 13, a story built basically like an antithesis to the story of 13, and it ends up being a similar story in episode ardyn, just one where the good guys all lose.
Amaterasu_1549906707 19 Posted April 13, 2019 Adryn isn't a bad guy.. He's forced to take that role by cruel godsIndeed, much like FFXIII
King Arthur13 51 Posted April 13, 2019 and i agree the other dlc would've likely been more conclusive, but even then, how did this "fix" the story of 15, by changing it? thats not fixing, that rewriting.
Amaterasu_1549906707 19 Posted April 13, 2019 I don't think that's the right way to describe it. They simply provided more of the context that was missing, and likely from the original concepts,i'm sure,as Tabata was doing his best to follow the work Nomura had managed to do.Rewriting implies that there wasn't something more going on,but the DLC basically served its purpose in telling us whyy Adryn is how he is
King Arthur13 51 Posted April 13, 2019 But even in the trailers released for 15, bahamut isnt depicted as evil.
Amaterasu_1549906707 19 Posted April 13, 2019 It's particularly ifrit that's depicted as such,Iirc?
King Arthur13 51 Posted April 13, 2019 the omen trailer(which is semi in the game of 15) has "Bahamut explain he only looks forward to one mans death, then he can rest" it sounds like he wants to end this, he wants this to be done, it doesnt sound like someone who actively caused all these events to happen. Its like tabata changed his mind about what the gods were doing in this story when making the dlc
