The bad parts about weighted grades is if you're not doing well and an exam is coming up, it's a lot harder to determine the minimum you need to get your overall grade up

We have like one final exam at the end of the year, which is a separate grade

You get picked into a subject and that's what you have to finish

And that's an external examiner who does the grading
