He just feels so shallow now. Prior, he was researching the Monado and the game went out of its way to show you his apparent frailty and densensess. Really good stuff for introducing him

But they just ignore that now and make him chad. He just kinda lacks as a protagonist now

Combat, size of the world and rate at which you walk regardless of movement buffs are huge issues for me too

I will say at least Xenoblade 1 has competent voice acting. I could at least watch the cutscenes unlike 2

I also probably have an unconscious negative affinity for Xenoblade as a whole due to my dropped 3DS experience of 1, mixed experiences with 2 and the super praise I see for it online

Cuz in games like Xenoblade 1, FF14 Shadowbringers just to name a few, I legitimately struggle to see what is so well liked about them. I always hear them being objectively good but idk what that even means.
