now even if you just go to pick up food people are starting to expect it

It's typically very very socially unacceptable to not tip

For my job is not expected to tip at all I really don't expect it either for What Little work I do but sometimes people give me a dollar or two so it's more like an extra little bonus to buy a candy or something

It was great in my old job whenever people tipped me, there always seemed to be something weird behind it

Like I was working at this dead beach one year, when like a swarm of bikers came by and they were like hey can we just hang out for a few minutes

and I was like go for it, because we didn't have a clear policy on charging motorcycles and I didn't really feel like dealing with it

they stay for like 2 hours, and then one guy comes out, pulls out this secret compartment in his bike, and hands me like a crumpled five dollars then just left
