Basic rules for FFXIV group content:

Don't pull enemies if you aren't a Tank
If you are dead and your group isn't in a boss fight raise yourself and run back to your group.
If your group pulls a boss and you aren't there you will get a teleport to the boss room
Only accept the raise of a healer during boss fights. It's not worth accepting a raise during normal fights
Your skill "Return" can teleport you to the dungeon entrance while you are in a dungeon

The reason why you want to raise yourself outside of bosses is because the raise of a healer will apply a debuff to you which causes you to do less DPS

Dungeons get better in A Realm Reborn Postgame and the following expansions, because they are all linear

tbf haukke manor sucks for newbies

in ARR they had this weird idea to make the dungeons more open like the dungeons in Classic WoW

but no one enjoyed it and ppl wanted to rush through the dungeons instead of exploring them

which is the reason why they are all linear now

the next dungeon that might suck will be at level 47
