Chatting of state regulations, the ban for one-time-use, disposable plastic bags in stores was signed.

I guess it's their measure of reducing the waste from them, but alternative solutions are going to be something.

Things like special wraps, trash bags, and food storage bags will still be sold.

I personally don't approve of the bill

I get that they're trying to help the environment, but store plastic bags usually have multiple uses at home

Bathroom trash bags, doggie poop bags (when cleaning the yard), trash bags for car trips, snack bags for trips, some moms use them for diapers, etc

People are going to have to buy those mini trash bags instead.

Five-cent tax on paper bags, btw

Reusable bags are an option.

I guess those cheap options for reuse will be out of the window to reduce pollution.

I believe California has something similar.

You can buy reusuable ones. You just keep them in your car or a couple rolled up in your bag. Compact travel bags for shopping that you reuse
