From Soft games,least in this vain.. are designed,usually,in such a way.. where it teeters on the edge between unfair and just right

Where..you can indeed overcome the challenge presented.. but just know it's not in your favor at most times

Like.. that aside.. these people freak out at the idea of accesisbility,but.. accessibility doesn't hurt a game. Ofc,even with accessibility, that doesn't mean everyone likes the thing. Like Spider-man Ps4

It has accesibility,like turning off quicktime events and turning up subtitle size,etc..

But not everyone likes spider-man

However.. the fact it included those options,that's the important part

Let's people play games how they want to paly them.. Not everyone is forced to play the way others might play

And plus,these people seem to think that.. difficulty is the only thing that makes a Fromsoft game when.. no,that's not the case

there's more to these games than just "It's hard"

Theres just a part of this franchise's fanbase that seems to think that these games are the pinnacle of what seperates casuals from hardcore and put down anyone struggling with them. I mean it is just really off putting to newcomers.

Basically,yeah

Bloodborne is a perfectly example,also,of how these games are more than just difficulty.. It has worldbuilding,atmosphere,a very good sense of level design and replayability,and a very nuanced sense of storytelling without telling you every detal

But now let's take that mentality of "It's good cause it's hard,right?" and apply it to.. Dark Souls 2

DArk Souls 2 was made by a different team,and.. Namco basically decided "Hey,let us decide where it goes"... and they set out to make a game that was just that: Hard. It was hard, with very little feel of "reward" to it... but Ds2,is what made people realize Dark Souls 1 is more than just difficulty

It made them look into the lore,the level design..etc

And made Demon Souls more appreciated,I think?

That's about all I have to say about that though
