MeowWow 14 Posted March 15, 2019 -_-I'm having trouble even processing my thoughts on what that senator said into wordsBasically, I'm interpreting their words as "oh, muslims commit faith based crimes on a daily bases, therefore although """""""""I condemn violence""""""""" this was ok"
Novayon 192 Posted March 15, 2019 I got a couple of words but I won't say them...

Otti#8624 26 Posted March 15, 2019 It's a stupid mindset to have"Oh, some people in a religion did a bad thing? Let's condemn every single one of them!"It's so firetrucking dumb
MeowWow 14 Posted March 15, 2019 I've seen a lot of hate from christians in my community towards this event and it boils my blood to say the least, as someone in a Christian householdThe fact of the matter is that people died. It shouldn't matter who or what they were. People were killed out of spite. Period.also another thing infuriating me is how people are turning a moral situation political on both sides
Amaterasu_1549906707 19 Posted March 15, 2019 What happened was a tragedy, and the idea that they would downplay it by basically saying "Even though a terrible thing happened, these group of people commit terrible thinggs anyway,so it's whatever" just... Amaterasu_1549906707 19 Posted March 15, 2019 It's disgustingMajor paraphasing here, but that might as well be what was said..

Inçendyne 31 Posted March 15, 2019 I looks like he's implying that it was okay b/c of the fact that they're Muslim and even faulted it due to the fear of what others misleadingingly do in its name. It's ironic where the actual violence came from, which didn't seem to be in direct retaliation. He's almost patting the perpetrators on the back. Eva 4 Posted March 15, 2019 Everytime there's an opportunity to spit on islam and Muslim in France, people will jump on the occasionin a country that promotes secularism, this is firetrucking hypocritical

Eva 4 Posted March 15, 2019 Well, there are worse places, but indeed, they have a long way to go before being left alonePeople are so obsessed with that religion here, it almost kills their arguments
2 quid is good 2,209 Posted March 15, 2019 Why? When the country is secular? Or is it just a politician thing?
Eva 4 Posted March 15, 2019 Secularism here is expressed in institutions, the church was separated from the state since 1901 (or 1905 I forgot), institutions such as school are secular (you shouldn't show very visible religious signs) but that's about it, people are still free to have the religions they want
Eva 4 Posted March 15, 2019 the right and far right hereuse the "france is a secular country" whenever it pleases them
