I do severely dislike that KH3 is geared towards the casual market however

So imagine youre playing a kh game expecting disney characters and you get these anime emo characters (no offense to FF 7, and 8)

Most of us here have played a FF title

But i really dont think anyone outside this community has played a FF title

And I mean, I completely get what you mean, Pachi. I am just not really fond of a series letting go of one of its base characteristics only to please the "casuals". And even if that was inevitable, surely you could have waited for the next arc to start before doing it, instead of doing it in the so called conclusion to the first arc of the series where those characters were fairly prominent, or at least had some participation.

I don't really understand why we're putting large audience and fans at odds here, I am sure you could make it so that the game pleased both groups (both groups which actually overlap somewhat).
