From the 2001 fans perspective, it's the first time in years since we had a proper KH game on a console
from the newer fans perspective, a lot of them wanted that super nice fun gameplay that Kh1FM and KH2FM gave them on the bundle

so either way, expectations were high

You know, the weird thing is that I didn't have any expectations when it came to KH3 a few weeks pre release

I am not shy to admit I saw them leaks

But I saw them for different reasons than one might expect

as a 2001 fan, i was just ready to be able to play KH on the couch in front of a TV again haha
regardless of how it turned out

nostalgia was huge for many of us

I had this creeping feeling, back in December, that something was amiss

I'm going to be very up front and say that I expected KH3 would be a game in the vein of KH1&2 and once December rolled round and I realised Leon was nowhere to be seen I got worried and looked at the leaks

I think it's very unfair to not understand why people think KH3 isn't a good KH3, because it's so very sidegamey and people rightfully did not expect that
