Oblivion and Oathkeeper's transformations are good too. If I remember right, before I sucked it up and got the Ultima, my favorite transformations were the Shooting Star's gun thingies and the claws on the Frozen keyblade.

A lot of keyblades aren't used as much and don't get much recognition, but their combos are really neat but aren't as strong as the big ones.

I think that summarizes Shooting Star quite neatly, it doesn't actually do much. I think it affected magic somehow though.

Actually, is Tangled's keyblade noteworthy in that sense? I know it has a fairly unique moveset in that it only has one transformation and it (probably) does magic damage.

Uhhmm, its ranged attack. You can dodge 3 times, making these clones of Sora made of light and shoot at the targeted enemy.
