this is kinda weird to me, too ?

Xemnas was instructed to guide Sora in getting Roxas back, but then acts shocked when he actually does it?

he even wanted it. so why would he have been shocked?

Because they expected sora to get so desperate to the point he would lose himself and become a heartless again thus calling forth Roxas once again I guess?

Like, that’s the way I interpreted all of this shit idk about y’all

I never really thought about these scenes in relation to each other before, so. laughsinnomura

that makes more sense than some of the stuff I’ve seen other people explain it as. Like time travel stuff.

My impression is that they were instructed to guide Sora to find the guardians of light and then Sora would seppuku in order to bring Roxas back. But since this is Kingdom Hearts Sora managed to do it without any consequences or repercussions, much to everyone's shock.

Xehanort's plans may have had to be changed and tinkered with many, many times throughout the course of the Dark Seeker Saga, but it goes to show that he has an ability to adapt and improvise.

It should. If you haven't updated to the latest version of the game then it won't appear

(The title screen will also change to 'Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind")

I really do wish they put a pause to let you explore a bit and climb the city at that point

All they’d have to say as to why you’re given enough time to even have a break in the action is that he still couldn’t summon the X-blade yet or something naminelaugh

Not being able to explore and not having a final world like in Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2 was one of the things that really ruin the game for me that thankfully remind fixed even though I wish you was a little bigger

I love that they made an explorable area and started toying with puzzles/interactable environments again but I still don’t think it’s as big of an area as people want to make it out to seem nor have they even nearly reached the potential of Scala as a world

I just wanted a bit more verticality with the area tbh, like being able to grind on the tram lines to go up the higher levels of the town

I was surprised that an expansion went down lower more than anything

Going up through the town all the way through inside the tower would be all pretty cool

If they were to make it complete I imagine the graveyard would also show up at some point

Have you ever tried going out of bounds in the data greeting a lot of the debris outside during the final boss is actually solid you can land on in and stuff

I just think it would’ve been super cool if you could’ve created set pieces like that while the town is destroyed and there’s one tram line left to go on and you can fight off heartless while there’s thunder and shit going off like dude I just want one original world to have anywhere near the amount of work put in as the Disney worlds ephemerfrown

I have seen all the OOB Scala vids tho it’s still beyond wild to me how much more they could’ve used because of how much is already made

It's pretty clear going around out of bounds that nothing out of what we see was actually designed

But I feel like there had to have been more planned with this place there's no way this is all they had originally

It's funny how the theme everybody thought was the field area music was actually the battle theme

What needed to happen is going inside the tower going up while every now and then you fight one of the north clones with the weapon of said darkness then fight xehanort at the top. Also tho exploring the world with YXs past in cutscenes knowing more about him and why he's doing this but that DR now

That's kind of how I imagined it to you were going to go through the town in fight each of them one by one as you go through

I think I even thought the Clones were just random mob enemies at first

Until the cutscene them and I'm like wait is this the final boss
