> that side games tend to give off, vs the title of 'KH3' a title that was really meant to have extreme story significance
It's true that this does give some side games feels to it, but that's also because the side games is* what drove KH3 in the first place. Xehanort is introduced in BBS, Xehanort *comes back in DDD. That's where the main conflict of KH3 comes from

I like Apprentice Xehanort from KH1 and 2 for the connotation that not only was he running these experiments on the heart for a master plan, but rather the idea that this is what Ansem has tought him, this is his life, and without it he has no real idea of where to go.

Very cool

My favorite quote is this one:

"A game is much more than what is "needed". It's also made up of things that fans and creators just "want" for the sake of being there (especially a fanfic like game that Kingdom Hearts is). Yeah, KH3 probably doesn't need Radiant Garden or FF characters, but not having them just makes the game feel less than it could be. Lightning in Olympus, Ferris in the Caribbean, meeting Rinoa in Radiant Garden, and more would have been easy things to pull off and make people happy."
