I mean, even with Critical mode, the game still has many problems. The first being the Omega Deus ex Machina the ending was, because apparently no one is allowed to die, ever. With a few exceptions. Obviously Sora and Riku will be back, so they don't count. Second, they didn't really fix the floaty combat, and because of the new engine, some parts are really laggy.

The superboss wasn't really relevant, unless we get more information, definitely not as good as LW or Xemnas in the first game.

There are missable cutscenes for whatever reason.

Even the vanilla 1 and 2 had betteer superbosses imo

The combat still needs some work. I hit 99 only one hour after beating the game.

Balancing I mean.

At the very least, the Ultima weapon matches Sora. The others were blue, but Sora never wore a very blue outfit. Plus the Ultima weapon is ACTUALLY the best Keyblade this time.
