Honestly? Same.. There was no way to please everyone... And, how dare I say it, but everyone had expectations.. Everyone. Everyone wanted something out of KH3, everyone wanted it to be something. Everyone built up theories, ideas, gameplay desires up in their own ways, and it all clashed once it was out the door. For a lot of people, this being a console KH in a long while is good and for others, they already felt unsure about this due to the team that was on it, or many other factors for both sides @Lucky Koi

As someone who unapologetically loves this game.. I agree with that post. I know it’s flawed but I still enjoyed this game, though in my case, I have indeed gone back to it several times by now. In this chat, I’ve come off as “KH3 Defense Force”, and that I think this game is perfect but.. That’s not why I argue for the case of KH3. I only argue for why KH3 is good is because there’s this idea that every single part has to be scrutinized, has to be criticized, and some in her have even said “People will eventually realize this game is actually not that good”, which is just so.. dismissive. It’s tiring to just see salt, it’s tiring to see people attack those who might actually mean well, it’s tiring to see nothing but shade or insults hurled at each other because “Oh yeah, you’re dumb for liking it” and “oh yeah, you’re dumb for hating it”(which I know generalizes the issue but I can’t go in-depth on that right now..) @Lucky Koi

Thank you

"KH3 definitely has it's fair share of deeper themes in it. I think KH3 intentionally was supposed to feel like everything was told to us on a surface level. Nomura is trying to get us to feel secure in thinking we know what's going on. That way the plot twist will hit even harder."

I can agree that KH3 has themes running through it, ut it doesn't make up for the absence of plot. And unfortunately the rest of your point hinges on me believing that Nomura wanted KH3 to be like this.

Perhaps I could believe that if it wasn't for the fact that Nomura's stated he's not happy with the way KH3 is currently, essentially saying he had to do the bare minimum. And it shows! No rhyme or reason for the why things happen, we're just shown the complete endpoint. Frankly I don't care for the Sora plot twist, it's something that bothered me for all of two days and it's probably the one thing in the game that makes complete sense. It's the rest of the half baked plot I can't stand

But I'm not

Anyway, it's a "fool me once" situation on my end

I fully believed KH3 would be a conclusion, and was led to believe that, so I expected something more well thought out than what I got.

I'm not inclined to put any more trust in Nomura than the huge amount I already placed in him for ten years.

He's got to prove it. Until he does I don't want to believe that there's anything more to KH3, because it'll just hurt me am I don't need anymore of that.

It's great if you can, I'm happy for you, but I can't bring myself to
