Y'know what would be dope? Gilgamesh stepping out of the Rift in The Keyblade Graveyard and having him not only as a boss, but making KH as part of the FF Multiverse. His reason would be wanting a Keyblade for his collection.

KH3 is a continuation whether he accepts it or not

And really, only a handful of games expanded the universe in a meaningful way

I'd say 1,com,2 and BBS did all the heavy lifting

I don't thinky ou get why people say those two things at once,though... KH3 wasn't meant to be the end,especially ever since we were told Sora would be the protagonist,and usually,sagas/arcs don't just outright feel like an end to a franchise

KH3 isn't the first time where you kinda draw from the history of a series and all the worldbuilding prior had been done. Likely won't be the last time in a game or game series.

That's the thing tho, there's barely been much worldbuilding since the first three games

BBS gave some back story but that was about it

Set up is different to worldbuilding

DDD was awful at making the kb universe feel expansive

We got to see how events affected radiant garden and disney Castle

We didn't have any thing of the sort in this game

That's true,though I still wouldn't say DDD and BbS didn't set up and worldbuild,especially BbS..you want to tell me that learning there were three keyblade wielders before Sora by like 10 years,who went on a slight journey,and how they're connected to current events,including learning about who's behind a lot of the things behind the scenes.. isn't worldbuilding,at all?
