Well if you think about it, keyblade transformations are what trigger form changes in KH3, but they keyblade needs to be in base form to be shown off in cutscenes, meaning the form has to be cancelled out for the cutscene otherwise you would get sora with a giant ass hammer blocking an attack.

There was only one scene in the whole game that showed a keyblade transformation, but it force switched it to Shooting Star and used both the dual blasters and the cannon

Okay so now we know that the guy on the top of the building in the secret movie looking at the moon IS in fact the master of masters. Also nomura has confirmed the secret movie takes place immediatley after Sora vanishes for Sora specifically.
