Fates Chance XIII 307 Posted February 5, 2019 Okay so I didnt catch it the first time but when you give Saix his final blow in KH3 he says, "We have achieved our goal" And at first I thought wow okay, a lap dog to the end eh Saix? But after watching his final moments I remembered how Vexen said one of the chosen was helping and how the plan was his idea. And I realized that Saix plan was not only to help bring Roxas back, but it was to die as a Nobody again so that he could be with Lea. I wondered then if that was why his fight was so easy. I played on proud and out of all the fights in that finale Saixs was the easiest and I was shocked because just thinking back on his KH2 fight he was way harder. Of course that could be down to them nerfing him like they did a lot of other characters (Vanitas, Ansem, Xemnas were just jokes compared to the first rounds we fought them) but I like to think there was maybe something more to Saixs last fight. That he knew he had to be struck down to return to being human, and so he fought but not with much of his heart in it. I'm probably over thinking it, but that line and realization that he was on a suicide mission to get back to being with his friend made that scene a lot more emotional for me. And of course he'd come back but still, I doubt it's fun to die.
Moni_22 335 Posted February 5, 2019 Spoiler I've been also wondering about who collaborated with Vexen and Saix makes the most sense. Maybe Lea realizes this and that's why he says "Stop the whole act" and also why Roxas and Xion are fine with him now (apart from him being actually a good person and Lea's best friend too). I wish the game clarified this though, I don't remember the secret reports mentioning about this. 1 Fates Chance XIII reacted to this

I wish the game clarified this though, I don't remember the secret reports mentioning about this. Yeah, I was wondering why Roxas and Xion were suddenly fine with him too. Like they hated his GUTS with good reason before. Like you said though, I wish they showed us more because Roxas return didnt make a whole lot of sense. How would he have known who was helping?? Also how everyone remembered Xion and how she was save was also not handled that great. They showed us how Ventus got his heart back and I guess we can assume that same thing happened when Sora was fighting with Xion?? And after her heart goes back to her everyone just clutches their heads and suddenly remembers... Before i saw it for the first time I worried that was how they were gonna do it because it felt kinda cliche especially after all the work they put into explaining why people were going to firget her in Days. I thought they were gonna put just as much care into explaining why they remember her. I kinda like how they didnt make it explicit who it was who was helping Vexen though they didnt try to throw us off with who else it could be. 1 Moni_22 reacted to this

Spoiler Actually I took another look at the secret reports where Even mentions how Saix came to him when he woke up. We know he talks about Saix because he says "he is younger than me but he was Xemnas's right hand man". So I think this clarifies that, I mean, we don't know what they talked about, but I imagine Saix said that he wanted to use his replicas to bring Roxas back and Even agreed because he wanted to atone too. In the scene they appear together they seem to be planning something bad, but actually it could be interpreted differently since they had secret plans. LunaCatte 169 Posted February 6, 2019 Spoiler I agree that this was all about the replicas for Xion and Roxas, and that Saix was the one that initially spoke to Even about wanting to atone as well, but could not due to being in too deep. He had to play the part in order to keep certain players free to move about in the game and get the task completed. Once he did that he was able to rejoin everyone. He said he was jealous and that was likely also motivation, but he knew that things would work out if he just played his part. Though, only one part of the mission was complete. The Mysterious Girl still has yet to be saved that we know, so I think there has to be more to it. 1 Moni_22 reacted to this
