KHBbS where are the FF characters in Radiant Garden?

i know that Square Enix wanted a FFVII character (hence Zack Fair) in BBS but i remember Squall/Leon saying that they used to live in Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion. either we didnt go around where they lived, or Square Enix decided not to put them in. im kinda disappointed cause if Leon/Squall was in BBS he would be and look like the original Squall

They were going to add them but they ended up feeling that it would make the plot to complicated, so they didn't.

I've heard people say that it would cause it to be too 'cluttered', or something like that. I myself don't know why they weren't included.

100% Agreed, square knows now that there isnt the little kid audience they targeted in KH1 anymore, that we have grown up, and they are kinda making the games different, there more, i dunno, grown up? because i know that if they were still trying to target a little kid audience, Maleficent wouldnt say "Hell" in BBS

Now that I think about it, it probably is better, after all, the Final Fantasy characters shouldn't be the focus of the game.

Square Enix chose not to include Leon and them because they thought the story in Radiant Garden would be to complicated if they did.

Maleficent was allowed to say Hell because she did it in the movie.

I don't see how not including Final Fantasy characters, a much more adult game than Kingdom Hearts, makes it kiddier. And considering animated Disney movies used hell and such (Fantasia even has nudity) I don't really see why it isn't used more.

When it comes down to it, KH is a game targeted at younger users, and the aged fans of classic Disney movies. Square drew in some of the FF crowd by including FF characters. I hope nobody expects KH to ever really 'evolve' or grow up, because that's just not what the game is built for.

That said, Disney got away with a lot of death and symbolism in G rated movies, so I'd expect KH to go at least that far eventually.
