Despite the smack he'd recieved to the head, Zeph was laughing. "Aw, really? Well, there goes my fun. And, "immature"? I prefer to use the word "charming", Miss Uptight."

He realised then that being behind the sofa was the best place for him to stand- his still soaked through pants weren't that visible there, after all. So, he leant forwards again, resting his elbows on the back of the sofa.

Out of the corner of her eye, Destiny noted that Rashel had returned. She turned to her momentarily, eying her appearance, scrutinizing it even, before turning back to face neither of the two, one of which was proving to be a never ending source of irritation.

"You're anything but charming Storm, no need to think so highly of yourself." She thought for a moment, glaring back at the male. "And it doesn't make me uptight simply because I take our place seriously." She stated, taking care to hit him with her hair when she turned back to Rashel. "Is there a reason you look so timid Scarlett?" Surprisingly enough, when she spoke to her, her tone wasn't as tough.

(Just as a warning, if I disappear suddenly it's because I had to go out to dinner with my Dad and Step mom ^^')

"What's the point in taking it seriously?" He yawned. "It's not like you got anything out of tonight, is it?" After being hit by Luna's hair, he rolled his eyes and leant back, standing up and then vaulting over the back of the sofa, landing with a thump and proceeding in taking up as much room on it as possible. "Maybe she ran into that hot thief and got his, slash her number," he commented.

Destiny growled, clearly bristled by his action.

"Do you really have any control over yourself?" She questioned, ignoring that his head was practically in her lap from being as obnoxious as he was. "What if Scarlett wanted to sit down. You're very inconsiderate." She stated coolly, glaring down at the teen. If only Slashers were permitted to dispose of fellow Slashers. Then her life would be so much easier. Wait...no it wouldn't. Then I'd be stuck with all the work... There was never a way for her to win...

"C'mon, Lu, lighten up!" Zeph grinned up at her, kicking his feet at the bottom of the sofa. "There's plenty of room on the floor, and I'm tired. I don't see what the huge issue is- besides, you should be angry with her, too, right? Jeez, it's just unfair how you always take it out on poor little me." He carried a wounded tone, then, even though that grin was still on his face, his eyes sparking. "And, by the way, it's very rude to hang up on people, no matter how dull you find the conversation."

Destiny flinched at the nickname he had given her. She disliked how Storm looked at her, grinning all the time and all.

"My name is Luna, not Lu." She muttered, looking at the Slasher with distaste. Though, that was mostly because he had a point. She should be mad with Scarlett for going directly against her orders, not just him. And he was -unfortunately- right that she hadn't really gotten much done except kill the man who was guaranteed an almost certain death anyway. But as for hanging up on him...She gave him a small smirk, crossing her arms with a huff. "I suppose you're reffering to the transmission," Destiny started, dodging the other accusations calmly. She gave him a malevolent look, her blood red eyes half- lidded as she flicked her neck piece. "I guess my finger slipped." That look, if any of them knew Destiny well enough, was one only seen in her most sadistic state, right before killing.

Skyler grinned to herself. Eh, Astra's near-death expirience was a minor setback, but she'd gotten a Striker to talk like a normal human being. Score one for Skye.

"Shh!" Skyler struggled not to laugh, on a bit of a sugar high, into the reciever. "Remember--code names." She stressed with mock sincerity.

She giggled, a cloud of white drifting away from her lips. Only one part of her wasn't feeling like it may turn into a Skyler-popcicle. The tattoo running along her back, her Mark of Purity. She shivered, partly from the cold, partly from remembering why she even had the Mark in the first place.

"Alright," She whispered. The city was almost abandoned looking, and peacefully quiet. Speaking too loud seemed to ruin the dreamy air of the place. "I'll meet you there," Skyler agreed, starting towards the dock.

Seeing the look on her face, Zeph's grin faded a little, but didn't fully leave his expression as he raised his eyebrows. "Well, Lu, if it slips again, someone might think it's personal, and snitch that you're neglecting your fellow Slashers. Wouldn't that be fun?"

He lifted his arms, locking his fingers together and resting them under his head, blinking up at her, trying to look as innocent as he could- all because he knew that very expression, when paired with his usual smirk, usually really pissed people off.

Destiny kept her look, annoyance flaring dangerously in her eyes. He knew how to get on her bad side that's for sure. If this kept up, she'd need Scarlett to monitor the fight that would most likely ensue. Of course the 'Superior' wouldn't mind, they constantly remarked that Storm should be taught a lesson.

"I don't consider a slacker to be a fellow Slasher, Storm. Referring to you of course. Don't be so delirious." Destiny mocked, more than irked by the look he wore so dismissively. Given the chance she would wipe it off his face without a moments hesitation. It'd serve him right to...

Zeph blinked, staring, face still infuriatingly smug, up at her, then pouted. It wasn't an expression that was particularly fitting on, well, he was at best an overgrown teenager, so he supposed, the face of a young adult. He believed it made him look younger, but in reality it just made him look even moreimmature. He unlinked his fingers to push his bangs back impatiently, then returned it to the back of his head, contemplating his answer.

"'Slacker'? How dare you call me such a thing, Lu~? At least I get someone's number once in a while, which is at least something. I think you'll find we both dragged up one big fat pile of nothin' tonight, slacker."

Add in the pout curled onto his lips and the mocking tone he carried and the infuriating insult tossed in at the end and you get one ticked of Destiny. Immediately the ash haired female glowered down upon Storm, the look in her crimson eyes deadly. How dare that...that failure call her a slacker?! She did the work, she tracked the Strikers every movement and she-- Destiny cut her thought process off, taking a soothing breathe, though it did nothing to soothe the raising of her voice.

"Storm, do you even think you have the right to--" And Destiny then abruptly paused, the little color in her porcelain shaded skin draining from her face, her eyes suddenly widening -a fraction of an inch- in terror. He...was calling her to the Entrance Hall...No...no, no, no!

(Aw, Luna is so mean to Storm~ Don't worry, I love you Zephyyyy xD)

"Why the scared face? Surely I'm not that terrifying," he mocked, dropping the pout. Zeph crossed one leg over the other, snuggling back further into the sofa with a relaxed sigh. He glanced across the room for a moment, taking in the clutter on the floor- and trying to spy his own belongings amongst it. Sadly, he had a tendancy to just throw things carelessly and forget where he'd left them, so finding his own things would prove... well, just way too much work. Not to mention his pants still weren't dry- in fact, they were anything but comfortable, but he knew if he took them off with Luna around she'd practically murder him. Still, it might be worth it, just to see her reaction.

Skyler pocketed her reciever, and squinted through the dark streets of Venice. "Where the hell am I?" She muttered under her breath. If it'd been light outside, she might've been able to find her way back, but now she was lost. Skyler rummaged through the small plastic bag she had tucked in her pocket. Earlier she'd bought some popcorn--so she was supposed to spend the money on a hotel room, whatever. Puppy dog faces still did the trick--she could pass for eleven if she adjusted her hair correctly and rubbed off her thin layer of sparkly lip gloss. Inside the bag was a map she'd picked up from the tourist center, specifically for this purpose. Skyler tried to use the light of the moon, but she couldn't make out any more than the faintness of "M...p ... Ve...i..."

She tripped forward suddenly. "Whoa!" Splintery wood dug into Skyler's fingers. "Ow," She cussed for a moment under her breath, and scrambled to her feet. The sound of water wasn't new--it was Venice, after all--but it sounded like it was lapping the bridge underneath her. "Guess I didn't need the map," She squinted, but Skyler couldn't see too well in the pitch-blackness. She called out faintly. "Hello?"

Destiny gulped, shuddering at the sudden chill in the temperature. Shaking her head, she tried convincing herself that the 'Superior' only wanted to consult her on Storm's bad behavior or something of that sort. She calmed herself, regaining her cold composure, brushing off Storm's comment.

"Do not fool yourself. I'm not afraid of anything, especially not the likes of you." She retorted, never missing a beat, her voice fluent despite the waver she held back. She would not allow herself to be seen as weak in front of Storm or Scarlett. That would shame her to no end. Practically pushing Storm away from her she got up and flattened out her cloak. She acted fine at the slightest glimpse but that wasn't the case on closer inspection. Her eyes were still scared, her lip still quivering.

"I must attend to the 'Superior', excuse me." She turned back to Storm, smirking halfheartedly. "And don't you dare think of going anywhere. We still need to discuss what happened earlier."

Raising his eyebrows, Zeph swung his legs out, sitting up and dropping his hands from behind his head. The corner of his lips twitched, threatening to smirk again, as he dropped his gaze from her. Picking at a stray string or two at the cuff of his jacket, he didn't look up as he spoke again.

"Don't think of going anywhere? What if I need the bathroom?" he asked, voice thick with sarcasm, almost as a parting gift for her as she left.

Destiny couldn't help but return the smirk even as she turned around and shake her head, in a mocking or an amused way no one can really say.

"If that's the case, hold it. If you can't...well, I have the smallest ounce of faith that you'll figure it out." With that, she was gone, heading up the spiraling hallway to the Entrance Hall. It was only when she was outside of range from Storm that she allowed out a small whimper of fear. She couldn't help but the think the worst was to occur.

.

.

.

As Destiny exited the Hall she couldn't help but give a small sigh of relief. She hadn't been in trouble...she hadn't been tormented...nothing. She was simply given a mission. But it wasn't exactly any better then what she had initially thought. it was on the same level of agony, if not worse. Feeling very irate, Destiny waltzed back into the Main Base Room, a smug frown on her petal lips.

"You get in trouble for slacking, Lu?" Zeph, who had been sifting through some of the mess on the floor, turned abruptly when he realised Luna was back in the room, hoping she hadn't spotted his soaked through jeans. He'd been crouching on the floor, so turning so fast left him kneeling awkwardly, half standing and half not. Knowing the nickname had irritated only meant he'd definitely continue to use it.

She rolled her eyes, walking with authority towards him, resisting the urge to cringe at the nickname he insisted on using. Instead, she paused only half a step away from him and leaned down to meet him eye to eye.

"Glad to see you listened- for once. Now get up, we..." She hesitated, not wanting to do this. "We have a mission to do. A Striker is awkwardly close to the Venice entrance to our base and we need to...well, you get the basic idea." She allowed herself a smirk of a true sadist, taking a deep intake of breath. "Either dispose of them or lure them away." She got up, flicking her hair to the side, adjusting it to it's basic position. "So to answer your question, no. I did not get in trouble for slacking. But you did. Double missions for a month." At least there was one sweet victory involved in this.

No one answered Skyler from the darkness. With a sigh, she zipped up her windbreaker. Where was she? Sheesh, Venice was cold, she didn't want to wait all night. Or really even five more minutes. Would it have killed Astra to say "meet inside some not icey-cold building like Starbucks so we can get a cuppuchino or something"? Skyler breathed out, and swatted at the white cloud that blew from her lips. Her reciever felt heavy in her pocket, unbalanced by the other side, containing only the map. It was sort of creepy being out here all alone at night. Skyler swallowed, and yelled. "Astr--Impulse?"

Rashel had watched Zeph's and Destiny's little 'argument', Destiny looking as if she wanted to tear his throat out. But she wouldn't dare to. The Slasher's didn't need any of their own taking each other down.

Rashel watched intently when Destiny got that horrified look, and Scarlet had chuckled, inwardly, laughing at how utterly terrified she looked. Rashel of course sympathized with her. The Superior was truly horrible. Anyone would be scared if he called them up. Except for Scarlet, the little masochist.

Destiny had returned looking completely relieved but still ticked off at Zeph.

She heard her talk about a Striker, near the base, which was odd. Don't Strikers have enough sense not to come anywhere near the Slasher base? Doing that would basically be suicide.

"What should I do?" Rashel finally asked, having been standing there for quite some time, beither being spoken to or scolded ask, just standing, listening, and watching.

Shivering, Skyler glowered out at the emptiness. She felt sort of abandoned by Astra, who no doubt should've been here by now. Instead of seeing Astra slam into her from confusion in the darkness, a vision slammed into her instead. The dark streets of Venice were replaced with a hallway she didn't recognize.

Inside were two girls and boy, only one of the girls not looking frustrated and angry. Her vision only lasted for a few seconds, but she caught the gist of it pretty quickly--there was a Striker too close to their base, apparently here in Venice. Skyler knew that there was, from what she could tell, only one person close enough to be triggering that alarm. Her.

Destiny flicked her gaze over to the previously silent Rashel and reverted her focus of attention to her.

"...I," She thought for a moment, eyes set to the side before nodding, as if she had been having a mental arguement with herself. Which she had been. "I suppose you can tag along with this idiot here and I. The 'Superior' had nothing assigned to you." Destiny stated coldly, crossing her arms, an aura of control around her.

(Short reply is short xD)

Blackness flashed in front of Skyler's gaze. For a moment, she thought she was blind, but she realized through the heavy layer of seemingly-invisible clouds, she could faintly make out the moon. It felt like someone was slamming their fists on Skyler's head relentlessly. "Ugh.." She murmered, reaching up to hold her head carefully. She groaned quietly to herself. Of course, for Skyler, this was common. This always happened after one of her visions, but that didn't mean it hurt any less.

On top of the pain slashing through her head, and the usual bit of vision loss and exhaustion that swept through Skyler after a vision, Slashers were coming. She swallowed, and glanced around. Was it her? Or was it Astra? Was that why she hadn't arrived at the dock yet?

'Ohhh maybe I can play with this little Striker~' Scarlet sang inside Rashel's head.

Rashel ignored it.

She couldn't and she wouldn't.

Rashel knew fully well that Scarlet would think twice before trying to full something right in front of Destiny.

Most likely they'd only scare the Striker off.

She was more than likely lost, and was of no threat to the Slashers.

But if she happened to be some kind of threat, then Storm and Luna would take care of her, no need for Scarlet to be there, just Rashel.

All she was doing is following orders and tagging along. She didn't have to do anything.

Skyler ignored the pounding of her head, and stumbled backwards a step, waving her arms to keep from tripping over the uneven ground in her state. "Impulse!" She shouted as loud as she dared. "Impulse! Hello!?" Skyler hissed, sort of frustrated. Were there no damn street lights in Venice? It was eerie to think anyone could walk by and hear her, and she may never know. "Astra!" She risked yelling, but her voice echoed, with no reply.

With a sigh, she spun on her heel. "Did the Slashers catch her or something? Is she in trouble?" Skyler bit her lip, not sure if she should wait by the dock or look for her. Well, if another Striker was in trouble.. Skyler flicked her reciever on, and started jogging down the street. She thought grimly to herself, 'I guess I have to go find that base..'
