Who named the Trios?

So we have the Wayfinder Trio, the Destiny Trio and the Seasalt Trio. 

For as long as i can remember each of these trios had these names- i dont even remember when or where i learned these.

Does anyone know or remember where or who named all the trios? Are these like official names that came out somewhere along the way by the developers or someone attached to the game? Or was it just fan made and it got spread around until now where it just is what we call them?

I always thought it was a fandom thing because I've heard the Destiny trio called the Paopu trio as well!!  But it would be neat to know who coined these names!

Sometimes the Seasalt trio are called the Clocktower trio. I think these are all just fanmade names like "Terranort" is. Sometimes the Wayfinder trio are just called the BBS trio. Kinda a boring and basic that name.

Do Hayner/Pence/Olette have a name? Twilight trio??  Or we could call them the Munnybags trio lololololl

Yeah, I've heard clocktower too!!  That one is pretty cute.

I believe Hayner, Pence, and Olette are either referred to as the Twilight Town gang or Twilight Trio so they don't get mixed up with Axel, Roxas, and Xion

The Destiny Islands Trio is also referred to as the Papou Trio and The Wayfinder Trio is also referred as the Land of Departure Trio or even TAV sometimes. I don't know if anyone's called The Wayfinder Trio the Shooting Star Trio, but that could be a name as well. There's also the fanmade trio of Vanitas, Riku-Replica, and Namine dubbed the Lost Trio although I don't honestly think the three of them would get along. I don't think anyone really knows where the nicknames for the trios orginated from and they've become commonplace within this fandom. I don't even remember when I learned about these fan nicknames for them.

Make sense and I used to count the number of letters in each trio because they would add up to thirteen.   All that changed with TAV.  But the Twilight Gang sounds better than the Twilight Trio.

They only add up to twelve with Ven's nickname which ruined the whole pattern. I guess you could call him Vent, but that would be really weird. Using the fandom's one nickname, Ter, with Ventus full name also gets you to thirteen letters in total.

Pretty much.  I don't think the numbers of letters in the trios' name hold any symbolism.
