Okay so I was just thinking that well whose heart did Roxas have? I know most people would say Ven. But I think that Roxas had Sora's heart. Okay, so Vanitas came out of Ven's heart, and he looked like Sora. Now, in kh2. When Sora is sleeping, Ansem says, "His heart is returning, doubtless he will awaken very soon." Now your like, well how about when sora lost his heart in kh1, and got it back. Well, what I think what happend was that when sora realesed his heart. It realesed Sora's, and instead Sora got Ven's heart. So he was still able to use the keyblade. Remeber, Sora was never ment to use the keyblade, only Riku.

That's all I got so far, i'm trying to make it better. But just try to understand. lol

Sorry I dont think that ur right because Sora is using 2 keyblades because of Ven's heart inside him and Roxas have 2 keyblades because Ven's heart was inside Roxas at that time and Roxas always feel that he have a heart because that time Ven's heart was inside him

Sora always had his own heart. What DiZ said was used as a metaphor of sorts. His heart began returning once memory restoration began, so basically, DiZ is saying that Sora will wake up soon because he's regaining his memories.

By that time in KH1, the Kingdom Key had already chosen Sora over Riku as it's wielder.

No, they didn't. It's assumed that prior to Ven connecting his heart with Sora, Vanitas has a blank face, kind of like Xion. After that connection was established, Vanitas took on Sora's appearance.

 

The heart holds a multitude of things within it, one of which is a person's identity, what makes you you. Sora's body used Ven's heart as a blueprint and reshaped itself. If Roxas didn't have Ven's heart, he would've looked like Sora.

Can no one ever just think that maybe, just maybe, the feelings Roxas had came from a heart of his own? Being that hes a "special nobody" i think this is entirely plausable.

Also just adding to above topics, Nobody's by definition are shells of their former selves cast away. The way namine put it is that shes kairi's shadow. it easy to see how Roxas shadows sora in that he reflects what is not shown. Not everything in Kingdom Hearts is as easy as black and white.

I believe that Sora and Ventus' hearts were fractured in the process of Sora becoming a heartless. I think that Sora kept most of his heart, but Ventus lost most of his heart. I think that the 2 fractured hearts within Sora merged, giving Sora the ability to dual weild. Sora also kept Ven's memories, as seen when Xion, who is made from Sora's memories, appears to be Ventus from Xigbar's perspective. For the small part of Sora's heart and the large chunk of Ventus' heart that left Sora, they moved to the nearest vessel that needed a heart: Roxas. It was inside Roxas that these two fragments of heart merged as well. Seeing as It was mostly Ven's heart, Roxas took on the appearance of Ven, while maintaining Sora's fighting style. It wasn't until Xion disappeared that he found his true memories and discovered his true self and could dual weild his keyblades.

 

That is just my opinion though.

That doesn't really make sense. The Keyblade of People's Hearts unlocks the heart's true potential. It can't fracture a heart that's perfectly fine, or another that's already fractured to begin with.

 

I think that the 2 fractured hearts within Sora merged, giving Sora the ability to dual weild.

The ability to dual wield was awakened by Roxas through the pain of losing Xion.

 

Sora also kept Ven's memories, as seen when Xion, who is made from Sora's memories, appears to be Ventus from Xigbar's perspective.

Xion appears differently to whoever is looking at her. She'll take on the appearance of the strongest memories a person has for someone connected to Sora. In Xigbar's case, it was Ven, so she took on his appearance. Ven's memories are in his heart, which Roxas has, but doesn't have access to. Throughout Days, Xion stole memories from Sora, Roxas, and Riku, hence her changing appearances in Snarl of Memories.

 

For the small part of Sora's heart and the large chunk of Ventus' heart that left Sora, they moved to the nearest vessel that needed a heart: Roxas. It was inside Roxas that these two fragments of heart merged as well. Seeing as It was mostly Ven's heart, Roxas took on the appearance of Ven, while maintaining Sora's fighting style.

He maintained Sora's style because he has Sora's body. You've heard of muscle memory, right? That's the case. Sora's body remembers how it used to do this and that, and Roxas did the same because of it.

 

It wasn't until Xion disappeared that he found his true memories and discovered his true self and could dual weild his keyblades.

 

That is just my opinion though.

Roxas never had access to Ven's memories. He knows that he's connected to Sora, and that's about it.
