Okay I have been wonderingiven about this for a while should Roxas and Venus both be freed from Sora'so heart and Sora lose his key blade and Venus regain his body, what will happen to Roxas, he was able to use two key blades simultaneously but only due to his connection with two wielders so if he becomes a real person then will he have to earn a keyblade from scratch? Seems unfair for the only dual wielder. Also is it just me or does Naminé make no sense since we found out about ventus and that nobodies are essentially carbon copies of their whole selves. I get she's an exception since she was born from Sora and Kairi's connection in KH1 but does that mean that she's sorta Ventus and Kairi's daughter? And then is Roxas like Ventus and Sora's kid? I get they hadn'the flushed out the whole nobody concept by KH2 but still it's funny and a little weird to think about in heinseit.

Well, correct me if I’m wrong (cough cough Lea that means you) but Sora has his own keyblade and can duel wield because of Ven’s heart inside him.  If Ven is freed, Sora would no longer be able to duel wield, but still have his own keyblade.  As for Roxas, if he becomes a real person, he should be able to wield too.

Ventus's heart is not what made Sora a wielder in the first place despite the irony of his being officially chosen by the Kingdom Key over Riku after he makes the same declaration made by Ventus against Vanitas, "My friends are my power". 

Ventus's heart gave him the ability to dual wield because he's essentially two wielders in one.

Ergo if (I'm so hopeful I almost said 'when') Ventus is revived, Sora will merely lose his ability to dual wield.  He'll still be a wielder of his own keyblade.

It's the same deal with Roxas. I believe what made him an anomaly and able to co-exist with Sora was that Roxas possessed his own heart which means he'd always wielded from his own heart, not Sora's and thus will be able to continue to once revived as a real person.

If Ventus is freed from Sora's heart, I don't think he'd lose the keyblade's ability because the keyblade eventually chooses Sora because of his strong connection to friends and being a hero like it did in KH1 when he got the ability to wield it back from Riku.

Namine isn't anyone's daughter because she was created, not born. But I see what you mean about them being related in that way. Maybe that's why she has the hair color that she has? For all we know, she could have the power to alter Ven's memories if he was also himself right now.

Again, nobody's kid. Roxas Sora's Nobody but has the appearance of Ven because his heart is also apart of Sora's. Otherwise he would have looked like Sora.

Namine is not Ventus and Kairi's daughter. And Roxas is not Ventus and Sora's kid.

Kairi is a Princess of Heart, so she has no darkness in her heart, so she can't form a Heartless. If her heart is lost, it doesn't become a Heartless. And therefore, she doesn't form a Nobody. In order for a Nobody to be created, a Heartless needs to be created. Instead, her body just lays comatose with no heart.

Kairi's heart was within Sora. When Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart, his heart and Kairi's hearts were released. In order for a Nobody to be created, a heart needs to be released from a body and a Heartless needs to form. Sora's heart was released from his body, which turned into a Shadow Heartless. Which also created Sora's Nobody, Roxas. Kairi's heart was released from a body, Sora's body, so a Nobody was created, which is Namine. Since it was Kairi's heart that was released from a body, then it's Kairi's Nobody. Sora's Heartless acted as the Heartless needed to form a Nobody for both Sora's Nobody, Roxas, and Kairi's Nobody, Namine. Roxas is made out of Sora's body and soul, and Namine is made out of Sora's body and soul, even though she's Kairi's Nobody.

At the end of BBS, Ventus' heart was fractured, so it went into Sora's heart to recover. Ventus' heart was still within Sora's body when he stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart, but instead of getting released like the other hearts, it stayed behind within Sora's body, therefore staying within Sora's Nobody, Roxas. Ventus' heart within Roxas is what causes Roxas to take on the appearance of Ventus. If Ventus' heart wasn't within Roxas, then Roxas would look like Sora. And now that Roxas is within Sora currently, Ventus' heart is back within Sora as well.

I really don't know anymore but... Ok it's like this for me: Sora has his own keyblade but mainly only because Riku gave into darkness... would've been otherwise Sora wouldn't even be a wielder on his own...I still think a part of his power it's because of Ventus being in his heart but as of now he has gone through so many experiences that have made the keyblade choose him as well IMO. As for the Ventus and Roxas freedom thing... I think Roxas body merged back with Sora's in the end of KHII, thus for him to return as a full beign Sora will search Ansem's data to find his "copy" which should be hollow as well. After that he has to find a way to free their hearts in order for Roxas to be completed and Ventus, which body still exists in CO, to be awaken. Don't know how this process will affect Sora tho.

This is only based out of what the series and trailers for KHIII have been giving us tho, take it with a grain of salt.

Interesting questions. I believe as stated above, Sora can dual wield because of Ventus's heart being inside him. But he earned the Keyblade himself. So when he releases Ventus and Roxas's hearts from his body, it should not effect his ability to wield a Keyblade. Of the three in question, Roxas would be the one who might lose the Keyblade for a bit, at least until he earns his own. We'll have to see how that works in KH3. If you need two hearts to dual wield however then nobody should be able to dual wield in KH3. Unless they make up some excuse for it.

Now the question is will this make Sora weaker in KH3? Sora was missing power from being separated from Roxas and merging with him made him whole again. If Sora releases Roxas, would he lose some power? Likely not since it's mainly Roxas's heart he's trying to set free, but it's another food for thought going into the monster that is KH3.
