Tails 6,692 Posted November 3, 2010 well, I just did this because I was bored (man i wish my smash bros.brawl disc would work). So what di you think of KH CoM/Re:CoM? I mean, do you think the story, gameplay, and voice acting was good or bad? And you can also talk about the characters too. Post your opinions here. And you don't need to talk about the whole story, just talk about what you mainly think of it.
khoathkeeper13 429 Posted November 3, 2010 The story was amazing, of course. The gameplay... cards... WHY!?! The voice acting was also amazing but, Sora looked liked he did in KH1 but sounded like he did in KH2 it bugs me about just as much as when Xion looked like Sora but still sounded like Xion... o.

The voice acting was also amazing but, Sora looked liked he did in KH1 but sounded like he did in KH2 it bugs me about just as much as when Xion looked like Sora but still sounded like Xion... o.0 The cards were used to symbolize scattered memories. It goes along with the overall theme of the game. Pretty neat imo, but hey, I'm one of those people who actually liked the card system. Well, he was running over those green hills for 6 days. Like we see with Riku, puberty flies by just like that. ...Or at least that's what I've been telling myself
xXFire22x 1 Posted November 3, 2010 I LOVE COM!x3 its my second favorite kh game:3(I mean both versions when I say this). I thought the stroy to it was really good, and very deep into the kh story. Sadly I didn't get COM until way later...After kh2 evenxp so I didn't know what was goin on with Roxas and all(and I wish I could have played COM first:p) I was so confused for yearsxD until playing COM finally cleared that up. I love using the card system, and both versions of the game have some different combos(especially the jap and USA version of re:COM). I loved all of Axels cutscenesxD his was the best. He just had that look of "pure mischief" >. The voice acting was alright...But Axels was best again in both jap and USA<3 I couldn't stand Larxenes and Vexens though...Especially Vexens jap laugho_o *shivers* creepy... ventus95 1 Posted November 3, 2010 i hated the whole card idea
baylaust 2,531 Posted November 3, 2010 I loved it. I am one of the few that liked the whole Card idea (it added more strategy to the game) and I really liked the story. Voice acting was good, though I wish they could have editted the lip syncing like in every other KH game.
Master Keeper 687 Posted November 3, 2010 COM 1 of my best kh games and I like everything on it

Voice acting was good, though I wish they could have editted the lip syncing like in every other KH game. True, the cards did give the game a strategical challengeto the game. I really liked that idea. And yeah the lip synching was way off since it was the same lip moving as the japanese version. But other than that, it was a great game. MasterXemnas 2,285 Posted November 3, 2010 It was too easy in my opinion, but then again all the kh games were.

Fates Chance 60 Posted November 3, 2010 i remember the card sysytem was also because of it being on the game boy advance. like each card, made a certain attack so it didnt over load the game i think was the reason. the only thing is what did marluxia mean by denote? i think thats how its spelled. he said "that would be an unfortunate denote." whats that mean?! Kishira 2,854 Posted November 4, 2010 I loved that game, both GBA and PS2 versions. I was very happy when they announced RE:CoM would be released in the states. <3 The only things that bugged me were the voice acting (besides Riku, Repliku, Marluxia, Goofy, Donald, and sometimes with Sora), it just felt really rushed at times...or hollow, which was a let down 'cuz I usually love the English version over the Japanese version....and don't even get me started on DiZ and Namine.....and Kairi. x'D And the last thing that bugged me was how for both versions, they say Riku's story mode would be harder than Sora's.....when in fact, I found it WAY easier than Sora's. xDDD; But other than that, I loved the game, cutscenes and all. I didn't know card play could be fuuuuuunnn!!!!!! =
aubreyloveskh 16 Posted November 5, 2010 I didn't like com/re:com as much as I liked the other games in the series. It had a good plot, but the cards made the game extremely less enjoyable for me. Also, even though there were a couple really good cutscenes in between the worlds/rooms most of the cutscenes were boring for me. It might just be because I was already bored after playing with cards. I still felt like the game was really repetitive, for example the worlds/rooms being just like kh1 except with less interesting parts because sora's memories were all screwed up. I understand why it was this way, but I still didn't enjoy it as much as the other games. I also think that riku's story was extra boring. It was great to have a game where you play as riku, but his story in castle oblivion didn't interest me. I think they should have chosen a different time setting to make a game where you play as riku, or maybe added something more interesting. Com wasn't a bad game, but I didn't like it as much as I wish I could have. It's mostly the whole card thing making me like this game less though, I hate card games in general, I hate things that have to do with cards, idk why. heartless101 83 Posted November 25, 2010 COM's story was a very good story line. The cards, I kind of liked. It made you think a lot. I like thinking when I play video games
deathrebirthsenshi 279 Posted December 8, 2010 I loved chain of memories. At first, the cards frustrated me to the point where I just put the game away for a few months after like the second floor, later I picked it up and realized I could arrange my deck in sleights (yes I'm slow) and then it was way cool! Sleights are amazing for all of the things that you can do, and the cards do add more strategy, as it is a bit more limiting. The other ones still have their own hardness and strategies too, though. The cards are just really different and original. The plotline was amazing, and I really liked Larxene (fav villain! ) The soundtrack from this one was also one of my favorites. The voice acting did do the original justice (meaning they did Larxene's evil laugh okay), although Sora's voice was a little annoying becuase you could tell he was trying to sound younger but it didn't work but it was fine. They didn't do as good a job with synching, but I just read subtitles anyhow. Wow this was long.
Isaix 924 Posted December 17, 2010 The story is really nice, the card gameplay I hate it but I never player RE COM,is it the exact same gamplay as COM?I like the story because of Organization XIII espcially because of Axel,Marluxia and Zexion,If I have RE COM someday,I'll try to beat it,but I have COM and I really hate it,I'm in agrabah and I...just cant continue because of the gameplay. Netty 1 Posted December 22, 2010 CoM is my favorite kingdom hearts game in the series. (Gameboy version.) Because its really good for on the go, doesn't cause too much stress as much as 358/2 days did, and its easier. (Unless you have to find 0 or 10 cards.)
