Any Idea what Reconnect KH3 now that we are almost at launch?

I don't think we've seen news anywhere about what Reconnect Kingdom Hearts means and we are about 3 months out to release. Anyone have any updated theories?

 

I personally think it involves most of the heavy plot points we are going to experience during KH3. Over the years we thought they were random, but if you compare each time we've seen "Reconnect KH" it actually connects to something important that's been shown/teased in KH3 promotions and interviews. What do you guys think? Nomura has said in the past that he knew where the story was going to head, but needed to spread details throughout the games before he got there. We first got Reconnect Kingdom Hearts back in Birth By Sleep. Is Nomura godlike?

I totally agree with you, man! Reconnect basically has been a means of teasing bits and pieces of what Kingdom Hearts III will be, tying one loose thread to the next, ya know? Think about it like the Marvel Cinematic Universe's post credit scenes! They've always been created to set up the next film in the ever expanding franchise, with bits and pieces scattered throughout the years teasing Thanos until he finally appeared. This is something similar with Kingdom Hearts, with the major pieces now in place and everything set for the final showdown against the Seekers Of Darkness, ya know?

Yeah! It's probably like what everyone is saying. Its just going to connect the pieces from the stories before...I believe Nomura mentioned that people will find elements from Union X in KH3 too, so hes kinda going for all the stories of course. Everything is finally coming together! Though it reminds me about Roxas saying how he wants to line the pieces up....Nomura out here foreshadowing everything so its a little unnerving, but exciting. Have you replayed the games recently? Replaying the games makes me realize how everything really is tied together so well!

This has always ben an enigma for me and like as has been mentioned, I do believe this relates to significant future plot aspects. I'd expand upon that as I think the re:Connect part will allude to the finale of KH3 and will focus on resolutions of the series. Every game has been gearing up for this and the purpose of the secret movies is to promote the next game, what will be interesting is in KH3's secret movie if it appears again. I'm personally hoping for a new message to create a new question to be asked
