The Keyblade War

1000 years before the Kingdom Hearts saga began, a group of Keyblade warriors are sent on a mission from their master. Supposedly, dark Keyblade warriors are gathering on a barren wasteland of a world, preparing for an all-out assault. It is up to this group of warriors of Light to stop them. However, when they arrive, they discover just how massive this battle will be. As they uncover the true meaning behind their mission, as well as the danger the universe could be in, the warriors of light must battle desperately against the dark Keyblade warriors to keep the worlds safe from a mysterious weapon they hope to forge...

 

In the end, not a single soul left, what would become the Keyblade Graveyard, alive.

 

Yeah, I kind of got this idea from playing Halo: Reach, but I want to follow the basic knowledge of the Keyblade War that was presented in BBS.

 

Rules

 

1. No godmodding. Your characters aren't invincible, and they will get hurt eventually.

2. Language is permitted, but try to keep it to a minimum.

3. At least 5 DETAILED sentences per post.

4. No killing off other people's characters without their permission first.

5. If (and when) you decide it's time for your character to go, make it as epic as humanly possible.

6. Spelling and grammar. Use them.

7. Have fun!

Raider stood, brushing off her jeans. It was time to go--as much as she wanted to, she couldn't spend forever up here. She should get home early as she could, though she'd probably be caught regardless.

 

Just before she opened the door to her home to sneak back inside--likely to be screamed at for sneaking out yet again--someone shimmered into existance before her. "Ahh!" Automatically Raider jerked away. Her eyes widened as she realized who the person in front of her was. "M-Master Kedo?" Her jaw dropped in amazement. "I-I thought that you were d-dead--" He cut her off before she could finish, not acknowledging anything that she had just said. His image was still sort of flicker-y, almost as if it were not real. "The Land of Departure. You'll know why I want you to go soon. Remember what I told you, Raider."

 

Raider reached her hand out as the image disappeared. "Wait! Don't leave yet!" She yelled, but there was nothing but empty air before her. Had she just imagined that or something? Was she surely, finally, going crazy? Or was it some kind of vision? Or maybe she was in bed with the flu, and was just hallucinating? Raider really wasn't sure which was true, but either way, she was apparently heading to the Land of Departure.

 

The door before her swung open to reveal her brother's panicked face. "Raid!" He shouted. "Are you okay? You were screaming." She struggled to answer him, but could come up with nothing. Raider turned, sprinting out of sight, and ran through a portal.

Kira could feel tha darkness staring to cover the world around her.The blue sky turned black and the calm sea turned salvage.She smirked all the way."If a keyblade wielder that cares for the worlds of light is near.He or she would come in a heartbeat once he or she feels the intensity of the darkness that is starting to take over now."Kira says.She feels the darkness around starting to creep inside of her and corrupting her more than she already is.But she didn't care.She liked it.

Richard got knocked off his Keyblade rider from an unexpected attack. Quickly, it disappeared and returned to him in it's Keyblade form. Glaring at the mysterious man from inside his armour, Richard glided forward and clashed his Keyblade against the man's Ethereal Blades, the blades making a static-like sound as they grinded together. Another dark Keyblade weilder... where are they all coming from? Richard pushed against the man, trying to force him back. "Who are you?!"

Quentin finally caught up with Richard, who just had a fight with one of these 'Dark keyblade bearers' he was now being attacked by a guy with ethereal blades, Quentin joined in on Richards side, the man didn't say anything and then slashed to the right of Quentin who blocked and then ducked. The man seemed to be laughing.

"So... Richard, wanna take him together?" Quentin asked knowing he was very mediocre with the keyblade.

A power struggle between Lucis and Richard occur. When Richard's Keyblade clashes with Lucis' Ethreal Blades, a shockwave appears throughout space. "I am Lucis. That is all you need to know." Lucis then tries to push back Richard with brute force using his two Ethreal Blades. I have to beat this guy right now, I can feel it crawling on my heart.

Richard felt himself being overpowered by Lucis. As Richard began to be forced back, he felt a strange energy coming from his opponent. I can feel a conflict within him. What's going on? Richard gritted his teeth behind his armour. It doesn't matter. I have to get to the Barren Wasteland and begin my mission. I have only one chance to stop this fight...

 

With all of his strength, Richard forced his opponent back, and pointed his Keyblade at him. "STOP!" With that word, an image of a clock surrounded Lucis, and he seemingly froze in time. Richard looked at Quentin. "Just follow me." Richard summoned his Keyblade Rider and began flying away, his destination growing nearer.

"Alright." QUentin answerred. He followed Richard for about an hour until they could see what looked like a barren wasteland. Behind them was something that started to fire on them. Quentin reflected one, but it did no good. They could not see they're atackers and suddenlt lost they're riders. They were tumbling towards the world, gravity was doing the rest, Now they were falling out of the sky on the world, and they made a hard impact. Quentin looked up, but then put his head down, and blacked out.

Richard woke up lying on the hard, rocky surface of this new world. Using his Keyblade to help himself get up, Richard looked around, and pulled his helmet off from his head. The rest of his armour soon vanished from his body. Richard has deep blue eyes and short, brown hair. He wore a sweater with the left sleeve torn off, wearing a piece of his armour over it. His jeans were also relatively torn up. Richard looked down to see Quentin unconscious, and picked him up with his left arm. Holding Quentin, Richard looked around the endless deserted land before his eyes.

 

"So this is the Barren Wasteland..."

Quentin woke up, Richard was dragging him through the wasteland.

"Thanks for not ditching me." Quentin said. He then pressed on a pad on his Armor which made his armor dissapear, Quentin had Blond hair, blue eyes, tan pants, a green shirt and a silver hoodie. there were holes and tears on the clothing.

"Seriously, thanks." Quentin said, he took a good look at Richard. they continued walking through the wasteland,

he asked Richard.

"I'm from Twilight Town, say... do I know you?"

Richard took a good look at Quentin. "Don't think I've seen ever seen you before today, but I lived in Twilight Town a long time ago. And don't worry about it, I wouldn't just leave you alone while you're unconscious." Suddenly, Richard's head began to hurt extremely badly. He fell to his knees, his eyes clamped shut, as flashes appeared before him.

 

As Richard opened his eyes, he saw a great amount of images. He saw several pictures of various Keyblade warriors meeting their ends in this world. He then saw himself lying on the ground, badly wounded. Finally, he saw a vast field of Keyblades, all stabbed into the ground, and his Guardian Soul was among them. As quickly as they came, the visions faded.

 

The pain in Richard's head soon faded, and he opened his eyes. What was that...?

Crack. The time barrier that froze Lucis unravels. Lucis, floating in midspace, starts screaming. "Damn it! It's too late!". And with that, his eyes start glowing blueish, and the symbol on his chest starts glowing. Everything around him starts to pulse, and he starts to overflow with energy.

 

It's taking over. With the last of his conscience, Lucis presses the button on his shoulder, and his armor disappears, leaving him bare in space. And then his head slumps over, as if he were dead. Suddenly, his body starts to tremble, and more blue light erupts from him, and he disappears into the darkness.

All Jason had ever wanted to do was find and kill the dark keyblade bearer that murdered his father, but he lacked the power to do so. he left the land of departure in search of this power, he had been told by his master, Kedo, that the farther one traveled, and the more dangerous the path, the better the reward. He had reached the farthest reaches of space, when his gummy ship was hit by a mysterious blue light and sent him flying.

He landed in a world he had never seen or heard of before. He assumed that he had reached the very end of space so he named this new world "The End Of The World". He traveled along the worlds surface until he reached a giant crevase in the planet. He found at the bottom, a room, and in that room he saw a keyblade.

Suddenly he felt a massive amount of power flow over him, "Soul eater, This will help me avenge my father."

 

 

His gummy ship was destroyed in the wreck, but he realized he had a keyblade and the standard space armour given to all keyblade aprentices(spell check) so he used Soul eater as a keyblade rider and headed for Twilight Town, the place where his father was killed.

On the ride there he saw a figure in the distance, suddenly, a huge bolt of energy just missed him, "That shot was ment to miss." said Jason, "I think they want a challenge".

Richard crouched down in pain.

"Whoa, whats going on?" Quentin asked. Richardd was clenching his head. Finally it seeemd the pain stopped. Richard got back up.

"What the hell's going on?" Quentin asked. Suddenly Quentin heard a voice.

"What he saw was the future." A man in a black cloak said. Quentin and Richard both summoned they're keyblades.

 

"We have guarded this land for many years in hopes to stop the creation of the X-Blade."

'X...Blade?' Quentin thought to himself.

"But it seems you understand nothing, weilders from the realm of light. Take my warning and leave this place, it is the only way." the man fiinished.

"Who are you?" Quentin asked.

The darkness is who I am and now that I answer your question here my if world is made of light and darkness what are you ask this unknown man? just as the man ask that he open Corridors of Darkness and with it disappear. I have to tell master about this.[/align]

Travis was training in the barren wasteland when he noticed that the man with the black coat appeared again in that world, but this time he was talking with two people. "Sigh, that guy never gives up"said Travis.

Travis starts to run towards them and while he was running he summoned his keyblade and used the dark magic spell Dark Fira. The man was clever enough to avoid that attack in time and Quentin as well, but the attack didn't even get near to Richard. "There's more?"shouted Richard. "Why won't you give up, dude? You know it's best if you run away." said Travis to the man with the black coat.

Quentin saw purple fire go towards him, he rolled out of the way.

"Why won't you give up, dude? You know it's best if you run away." The stranger said to the cloaked man.

"As long as the X-blade can be forged, I will always protect this land, Travis." The man said, he walked into a dark portal.

Quentin turned towards 'Travis' he was in his teens, had black hair, jeans and a jacket but no shirt. Quentin sensed darkness in him.

"You're one of those 'Dark' Keyblade weilders, aren't you?" Quentin asked. the teen did nothing. Quentin summoned his keyblade. (Kingdom Key)

The world git covered in darkness,but it did not got destroid.Kira looked around.She was covered with a dark aura.She looked around.She smiled as she saw how the world got corrupted with the darkness."Now.I need to find a world,but one that has pure light."Kira says.She concentrates and finds a world bettween the universe.She smirks."Land of Departure...maybe I should visit,only once..."Kira says.She gets an aurmour pad out and puts it on her shoulder.She taps it and she gets into a silver aurmour.Her keyblade turns into a runner.She gets on and leaves the darkness infested world and goes in search of another one.

This journey is to become fearless so why am I so afraid master I'm a failure this whoever it is smell like someone I've meet before..... maybe someone I meet before the master find me he or she may know who I was.But it also smell's of darkness.

Richard's head was scrambled. X-Blade? What is that? What were those visions I had before. I can't trust this man, whoever he is. I'm not sure I can trust this new guy either, since I've only gotten into trouble since the moment I met him. I need some time alone, and I have to get on track with my mission. With that, Richard looked at Quentin. "Sorry, pal. I have a job that needs to be done." Feeling somewhat guilty, Richard stabbed his Keyblade into the ground and teleported as far away from the conflict as he could.

 

When he arrived at his new destination, on top of a rocky cliff, he looked down, and his jaw had dropped. He was led to believe that he was the only one going to be there, but...

 

Hundreds. If not thousands. A field of Keyblade weilders were on the plains below him.

"Sorry pal, I have a job that needs to be done." Richard said to Quentin, he stabbed is keyblade to the ground and teleported.

"Wait!" Quentin yelled. the man in the coat sighed.

"Travis, he's not worth you're time, the coward left. And this kid doesn't seem to have the training required." The man said, him and Travis dissapeared, leaving Quentin alone. He continued through the desert for hours. he put his hood up.

(Sadness and Sorrow plays in the background)

'Job to do? And he ditched me? Some keyblade master he is. I thougt we were supposed to help people and work together. But I guess that was a lie, I don't even know whats going on.

The X-blade... what is that supposed to mean?' Quentin thought while wandering.

'...Why... did the keyblade even choose me? I never asked for this... I left my family for this? All this time I wanted to be a keyblade master, but I never even found a master... And it looks like I never will.'

 

After a few more hours he found himself in front of what looked like a large black building.

"What the hell?" Quentin said.
