It's a shame. It is. Not being able to say anymore that it comes out this year is a shame. However the worst thing might how they were so sure about the "2018" release, even last month. It is an acceptable delay, it's not indecent, 1 or 2 months probably. The worst ones will be the "TOLD YA AHAHAH!" guys,, but if, maybe, hopefully,, they delayed the game to fix important stuff, then I'm fine. Disappointed but fine.. It would makes sense if they were keeping in mind the comments made by those who played the game at the event.But I want those problems fixed now.Oh, and another delay wouldn't be so acceptable. I hope the trailer (trailers?) manages to get me super hyped again, I'm a little down lol.

After 5 years since its announcement, the release date for Kingdom Hearts III has been revealed!

 

Kingdom Hearts III will release January 25, 2018, in Japan, and January 29, 2018, worldwide!

 

 

This was revealed in a new Kingdom Hearts III trailer that was shown to the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World Tour- attendees at the Los Angeles concert today, and on Twitter.

I'm okay with but at the same time I'm a little disappointed. In time I will get over it. Also, did everyone notice that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be release "seven" months away? Coincidence maybe? I really hate how they announced the Release date. It should've been announced in a public trailer. They really took out the hype you get everytime you watch a trailer and hope to see the date in the end.

 

Furtherless little disappointed since they made very sure that 2018 would be the year. Gladly it is just a short delay.

 

But I prefer gaming in the cold months like January so I can't be mad at this(:

Makes sense for KH3 to come out in January. Its prologue that was taken out of it, 0.2 BBS, released on January 12th, which is after its prequel, BBS (Originally "Episode 0" before backtrack), released on January 9th.

While I'm slightly disappointed in that it comes out in 2019 instead, it's not like I was expecting it any time soon. I expected November, basically fitting into the Fall/Winter slot, but January is just the beginning of next year so I'm not too concerned overall.

I wouldn't be surprised if they delay it even to march at this point. I mean from the feedback that they got on Premiere Event, people didn't ask for too much improvement. Only better controlling on the running wall, heartless shouldn't affect Sora during summon, frame rate. What else did people respond to?

 

Them releasing the game earlier in Japan seems like a shitty move to do when KH3 has been marketed globally. It might be only 4 days, but that's enough to shove it in other people's faces on who cares more about this entry. The whole confident promise of releasing it in 2018 was the last straw of taking any of their words as true. If this means that they will make the game better than just a few fixes, then more power to them :lol: . But if this leads to the game feeling even rushed or un-complete then all I can say is "As If" People have a right to be dissapointed, but that's as far as I'm going with this.

 

There! now SE you make sure that this game is worth the wait, cause if not. It's gonna force you to eat up your own words, and swallow them.

I’m excited we have a release date, but it seems some people who were pessimistic about it being delayed turned out to be right. I would rather have them take more time just to get it right than to release something this year that is incomplete and has issues. That is a positive that everyone should remember.

Yeah well it is better to show the release date to the true Kingdom Hearts fans but it doesn't matter it was delayed.

I'm a bit disappointed, but hey it's not too far I kinda speculated it would come out in December but late January isn't too far. I'm hoping this would give them enough time to finish the game the way they wanted it to be...
