Will We Get KHIII's Opening Cinematic At E3 Or The Concerts?

Hey there everyone, how's it going!? So then, with Kingdom Hearts III inching ever closer to release, do you think that Nomura will decide to drop the intro cinematic of the game at one of the concerts, or E3? I'm curious about this because when 2.8 was close to release, Nomura dropped the intro for 0.2, so I was wondering if the same would happen for KHIII!

 

What do you all think? Is it possible?

I think it depends on when it is releasing. Between E3 or the Orchestra, I'd say the Orchestra.

 

If the game comes out July, August, or September, then I could see them showing the opening. BUT, if the game releases October, November, or December, then they might drop the intro at Gamescom in August.

The full opening is coming either when Utada drops the album at the end of June or shortly before release. I don't see it happening at E3, but maybe we get little snippets of it in a trailer.

Probably before the events since it has happened before. Though I would imagine the best place to do it is at the concert and livestream it, but if they cannot livestream, do it during E3.

They also dropped the cinematic opening of Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance in one of those events back in 2012 before it's release. They did the same thing with 0.2 Birth by Sleep. So I think they might do it for Kingdom Hearts 3 too. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't but who knows. I hope so though.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is the last chapter of the Xehanort Saga not the Kingdom Hearts saga. Nomura said it's not the last game of the series.

Yeah, that's true, and if we're going with an October or November release, the opening intro could also be shown at the Tokyo Game Show, which is in September!

Yeah, I'm really hoping we get that intro cinematic soon! So here's keeping our fingers crossed! Oh, and KHIII isn't the final game in the KH Saga, because Kingdom Hearts will continue after III, it's just the end of the Xehanort Saga, ya know?

Yeah, let's hope! Since promotion for the game is getting more active, I'm hoping the intro is one of those pieces of promotion in particular that comes our way!

I hope not! I love openings and I like that surprise factor you get when seeing it for the first time, like back with KHII. He started spoiling it with BBS and always hated losing that surprise factor but if it happens not gonna complain either.

Oh lord, that would truly be something epic for the ages! You know, I've actually been thinking and imagining how Don't Think Twice could sound in its eventual orchestrated version, and now that you say this, it just makes me all the more psyched up to want to hear the orchestrated rendition of the song, especially with the cinematic playing in the background!

Yes I mean it's one of those features of the game that I have always longed for and loved discovering them for the first time in my own screen instead of them being partly spoiled on a trailer or something so I definetely hope it doesn't but IF IT DOES then I can't do anything else than enjoy it then :v

Well hey, either way, it's going to be mind blowing! Just 13 more days for the release date, and the wait will finally be over!
