Worlds for Older Disney Movies

So as we all know, two of the worlds announced for KHIII so far are for newer Disney movies, those movies being Tangled and Big Hero 6. While this is exciting, I personally am hoping for more worlds based on older Disney movies. So out of curiosity, which older movies would you like to see make an appearance in KHIII? For me, I'd like to see Treasure Planet/Atlantis, The Jungle Book, and/or the Great Mouse Detective.

i think its only fair we get to see dumbo and bambi's worlds theyre among the few summons whos worlds we haven't seen, and sword in the stone weve had merlin from the start lets see his home

I suppose Treasure Planet and Atlantis don't count as "old" when compared with some of the other films we've seen in the KH series, depending on how you look at it. I do love the idea of seeing The Sword in the Stone and Dumbo make appearances as new worlds; they could do some neat stuff. Bambi would be nice, too, especially if there were more transformations for Sora, Donald and Goofy.

That would be nice. Like I understand that recent ones have been really popular but hopefully they have more variety. I know past games kinda fixated on one decade or another ( KH1 and KH2 defiantly focused on the Renaissance films) but they still added two or three from other eras.

It depends what people see as old. I probably would not but younger people would probably see them as old  :smile:. And they might be trying to get kids to come play the game.

I've thought of Treasure Planet and Atlantis as old for the past several years, and I think it's because they're among the last traditionally animated films Disney released before they officially switched to CG. But again, I think it is dependent on how you look at it. 

 

They probably are trying to get kids today to play the game by adding worlds from more recent films. But one of the things that I think could be so great about adding more older films is that it introduces today's kids to Disney's classics, which I imagine a lot of kids aren't familiar with. That's why I think they should be adding more classic films.

 

 

I'm honestly surprised that Sword in the Stone has not appeared yet in the series. It would have been a good addition to BBS. I saw someone speculate that it's the new world for Union Cross.

The Sword in the Stone is one of the Disney classics I always forget about, but it really would be a great addition to the KH series. I think it could add a lot to the story. I stopped playing Union Cross a while ago, so I don't really have much of a say in that area.

I agree. It would give a little more exposure to slightly older, or even a lot older films that they usually don't get. i have never heard about Tron until KH2. I....still have not seen the movie but I might in the future. They have included less popular movies in the past, so I hate when people say they would never include, let's say, Treasure Planet cause it is less popular. It was already gonna be included in DDD (which I know is a side game but you get the point), so it's obviously not out of the question for them and they have been thinking about it.

Oh believe me I stopped awhile ago myself. Much too repetitive. And I'm kinda angry it's gonna have some major tie ins to KH3. :dry: I'm only interested in what new world is gonna be included.

Tron's great (though be prepared for some pretty old-school effects), and it was really cool to be able to explore that world, although I hadn't seen the movie at that point. I've heard so many people say that about Treasure Planet, that they won't include it because it's not popular. But every time someone says that, all I can think is "Okay, so they won't include Treasure Planet because it's not as popular as some other films, but they just HAD to include "Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers" because that's such a classic, amazing film? If that can get included, so can Treasure Planet. And Atlantis. Either one would be great.

Huh. I actually didn't think about that, but now that you mention it, that would be an excellent reason to include it in KHIII. Merlin takes Kairi and Lea to his homeworld to start their training, and recruits Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Riku to head over and help out. It's perfect! Makes it seem like a waste if they don't include it, actually...

I've always wanted to see Great Mouse Detective as a world. Fighting inside of Big Ben, especially with Flowmotion, would be amazing.

 

I also would love to see Roger Rabbit turned into a world for all of the metaphysical, fourth wall breaking goodness it would bring (people want a more "mature" Sora? Here's your chance, gang).

Brother Bear would be pretty cool. To be honest I wasn't a big fan of the movie, but I think a world could add some cool new stuff. The Emperor's New Groove might be interesting, though I'm not sure exactly how well it would work with the KH series. Then again, I was really iffy with the announcement for Fantasia and that world was fantastic, so I do have a fair amount of faith in them.

Great Mouse Detective needs more attention; it's one of my favourite Disney films ever and if they were to add it to KHIII I would be over the moon! Roger Rabbit would be an interesting choice, though I agree it might be a bit too mature for the younger audience.

We need at Least Two or Three Traditional Animated Disney Worlds in the Game and we can't have Hercules be the only 2D Disney Movie in Kingdom Hearts III so we need at least (Treasure Planet (A Most Wanted World for the Game it could work for the Gummi Ship though) and Jungle Book in the Game i don't know about Atlantis the Lost Empire though or Agrabah but it does have The King of Thieves in it with Sa'luk and Aladdin's Father Cassim who's Important though we don't know if Agrabah is coming back or not since Hercules is the Only returning Disney World in the Game). So maybe get at least Two or Three 2D Disney Movies in Kingdom Hearts III).
