Sora and Kairi sadly returned to Destiny Island without Riku. Although they teased us in Kingdom Hearts 4 that he will return in ''some way'' (Fans made a petition that draw SE attention) He does get a stand-alone Game during his time in 358/2 days and Kingdom Hearts 2

I'm not familiar with that term.

Compare it something like Reaction Command. It's not something you can't use all the time. It's not like you can summon the ''Pirate Ship'' in The Usual Spot.

It all adds up and it will give you an ''Oohhh.. It all makes sense now'' feeling.
