I know this should be an easy boss to some (AND I MEAN SOME) people but im gonna ask how people beat the Phantom...

So tell me YOUR ideas of how to beat him cuz honestly I try and try...

AND EVERY TIME I LOSE! Anyways need ideas here! (note im level 100 and im about to get the dream sheild)

Just make sure you come equipped with the right magics, and only attack him with your Keyblade when the glow turns white. I bet you already knew this so I probably didn't help you much, but I try.

i'll give u some tips

1. keyblade- lady luck

2. get accesories that give you more mp

3. have goofy with you and make sure he has the ability that gives you 3 mp

4. keep your eye on the clock try to break his hearts thing once or twice sorry i cant remember what i did

5. keep calm

6. if his little heart orb thing is red use fire, blue blizzard, yellow thunder and white normal keyblade attacks

7. quick select magic menu have fire, stop and cure

8. make sure goofy (recommended) is in your party

9. have hi potions and eithers with you or better yet elixers

10. customize goofy so he uses support abilitys alot or more often

(when i've said eg. fire it means (fire, fira and firaga) and try your best

i did it with kingdom key and goofy with his default sheild sora lv 61 peter pan lv 61 and goofy lv 62

You know that heart underneath it, how it changes colors? It determines its weakness:

 

Red: Fire

Blue: Blizzard

Yellow: Thunder

Green: Aero

White: Melee

 

I would suggest having Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder as your shortcut commands so you can easily access them for when that colored heart appears, but do whatever 'floats your boat' (Keeps you alive!). It all depends on what you want to be able to cast quickly. But before even thinking about that, there's one problem, that stupid countdown on the Big Ben. What do do about it? Hey, you have a time based ability right? Stop! Just cast Stop right next to the clock to end his little Doom charade, for now. Be sure to keep your eye out for when that clock is counting down so you don't loose any party members. I would recommend having some ethers available for you and your party members to use, but make sure they won't use them too much. When deciding what party member to bring along with Peter Pan (As you have to have him in your party to reach the fight.), it all depends in what you are looking for. Donald can use magic, but Goofy has his precious MP Gift ability. That is up for you do decide, but I would recommend setting any MP abilities your party members have to not preform them very often so that they don't waste Ethers on restoring valuable MP that could be preserved. Try not to let him hit you with his attacks, but if that happens, be sure to heal yourself if no one else is available to do that for you, but only if the cast is worth the used MP, so I would recommend healing when you are at about half health. Perhaps another idea is to summon Tinkerbell if you can, after all, she heals your HP every-so-often, and if you are killed, she will bring you back, but I'm not entirely sure if this will be applicable to the stupid Doom spell.

yay ultima wepon .......... i dont know why i said that but yeah ultima wepon will be good for when you have to do keyblade attacks and it gives you one more mp

The only abilities I dont have equipped I think are the ones that take up 4-5AP e.g.Trinity Limit

Yep, those abilities aren't good for this battle, not only are they MP wasters but they also don't always work since the Phantom Heartless doesn't always have the White Heart.

Well, the Defense boosts will be of some help I can tell you that. As for the Strength boosts, they will be of most benefit when the Phantom's heart is White.

sora 2 omega arts and 1 atlas armlet (but crystal crowns are better the omega arts)

goofy holy circlet, raverns claw, guard earring and ray of light

Yeah Peter will always be the first victim I know that. I dont know why though. I goes Peter, Goofy then Sora and its GAME OVER (Learnt from many experiences)

Because I have about 2 or 3 Crystal Crowns, how many should I equip on Goofy? More or less?
