Jamison Wyant 21 Posted February 9, 2018 Does anyone understand why the Lingering Will is so hard to beat? Is it a difficulty spike or do i have to be a certain level? 21 WallaceTek, RazorDN, CharlesDow and 18 others reacted to this
Master Keeper 687 Posted February 9, 2018 (edited) Because he is a secret boss I would advice being on level 75 or higher to guarantee your winning sooner than later. Also don’t forget to have Second Chance and Once More abilities + all the abilities of Drive Forma being maxed It’s also adviced for you to have Ultimate Weapon or Decisive Pumkin Edited February 9, 2018 by Master Keeper
Dustin Lübbers 933 Posted February 9, 2018 Its the number of different attacks that he uses randomly that make him so hard plus that he is completly unforgiving
Oli 1,679 Posted February 9, 2018 he's not hard, it's just he's made of metal and anger
dabestgamer 62 Posted February 9, 2018 Barring cheese methods (namely the one involving Fenrir--the only one I can think of off-hand), it's a boss that you really have to learn in order to get past him. 1 Yuya Sakaki reacted to this
Movies798 1,360 Posted February 9, 2018 That's because he was program that way. He start off as hard but if you keep fighting him you'll eventually see his fighting patterns and I pretty sure you'll figure out how to beat.
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted February 10, 2018 Well, he was designed to be a particularly difficult hurdle to overcome, hence why he's a secret boss, and probably the most powerful one in the Kingdom Hearts series as of yet! He's meant to be there for us to put our skills to the test, so we can see just how good we are at playing the game! Granted, the first time around, it took me quite a few tries to beat him, but when I finally defeated him, I felt so accomplished! The funny thing, though, is that when I fought him on the PS4, it took me like only two or three tries to beat him! But yeah, he's meant to put your skills to the ultimate test! Sephiroth is child's play compared to him!
hatok 6,413 Posted February 13, 2018 The Lingering Will is meant to be the final culmination of your time with KH2. The intended path is to have beaten the entire Data Organization at this point. The rest is just dodging and dealing with his abilities. Stay calm and you'll get it
