Iamkingdomhearts1000 1,170 Posted February 6, 2018 Dissidia NT only features the Antagonists from FF I-X but what about the ones after X? here is who i think should represent the Antagonists in the FF games after X that should appear in Dissidia NT: FF XI-Eald'Narche. FF XII-Gabranth. (Since he was already representing FF XII, as its Antagonist.). FF XIII-Galenth Dysley. FF XIV-Gaius Van Baelsar. FF XV-Ardyn Izunia. Does anyone agree with these five chosen Antagonists? 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Axtwyt 500 Posted February 6, 2018 I seriously want Gabranth back. I can't believe he was missing from launch. For XIII, I'd say Cid Raines or Caius.Tactics should get Delita or Ultima.I don't know who should represent Type-0.
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted February 6, 2018 I'd definitely want Caius Ballad to represent XIII. He's such an awesome antagonist and I think his combat style would be fantastic to use.
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted February 7, 2018 Your list is pretty great, but for XIII, I'd love for Caius Ballad. I've always wanted to play as him in Dissidia, and hopefully, he's added in later on as DLC! Because let me tell you, Caius is a bona fide badass, and he's voiced by Liam O'Brien, the same person who voices Kain Highwind from FFIV!

Trust me everyone, i love that you all recommend Caius for the villain of XIII but to add both him and Zack Fair from the Final Fantasy VII universe would be a difficult question to ask, i mean Caius originated from XIII-2 not the original XIII and would Zack represent the original Final Fantasy VII or Crisis Core? same going for Vincent Valentine, would he represent VII which he first appeared in or Dirge of Cerberus? know what i mean? 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Zack was hardly in the original FF7. In fact, a majority of his screen time is a miss-able cutscene. Zack would definitely just be representing Crisis Core. Vincent Valentine was also an optional party member, so he'd represent Dirge of Cerberus. As for Caius, the argument I come to is that he is much more connected to Lightning than either Cid or Dysley. Caius is a big deal to Lightning in the XIII-verse, while I can't really recall any personal stakes when it comes to the conflict between Lightning and Cid Raines or Lightning and Dysley. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Yeah but i remember someone once telling me that Caius wasn't really Lightning's rival in the same vein Sephiroth was to Cloud, you know, Caius being Lightning's answer for Sephiroth the same way Lightning was the answer for a female Cloud. Yeah, well, remember that fighters that appear in Dissidia don't have to strictly have a specific rival or someone specific to go against. Just take Kain, for example! He's from Final Fantasy IV, same as Cecil, yet he doesn't have anyone to fight against, like Cecil does Golbez. Same goes with Tifa being included. She doesn't have the rivalry against Sephiroth that Cloud does, but she's still there even without a person to square off against. So you see, Zack could make it as an extra character representing the VII universe, ya know? As for Caius, he's more well known as being Lightning's adversary than Galenth and Cid, as those two were adversaries of everyone in XIII, not just Lightning specifically. And Caius does have quite a following of fans, so I'm sure that people would connect the dots and associate him being from the XIII universe, ya know? As for Vincent, same explanation I made for Zack, ya know? I say ya know too much. X3

hatok 6,413 Posted February 14, 2018 The game already has less characters than Duodecim, and frankly characters like Tifa and Gilgamesh are more important 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

He was so fun to use in Duodecim, he was one of my favorite characters to use! His skillset was pretty badass! I hope he returns for NT!
