(Sorry, peeps. Some real life stuff got moving when I wasn't expecting it.)

{Malcolm}

Malcolm kept a look of polite interest as Raven spun his yarn. That he was trying this route was encouraging that he wasn't the thug some of info Malcolm managed to dig up on him indicated. But what was his interest in the kids? Their reactions to the situation were suspicious as well. Deciding he had enough of this, the dectective began easing his coat back to give him a better reach for his cuffs and weapons.

"Now, while I'm sorry to break up this little party, but if you would-"

Malcolm was caught off by Sea's approach and handing him the letter. His face went from polite and helpful to carefully blank as he took and read the letter. Keysword apprentices? Here?

"Everything seems to be in order." He finally said, handing back the letter to Sea. "Strange to see you here."

His eyes darted to Raven.

"Even stranger is your company."

The detective paused, and gave a look around the market.

"But this isn't the place for that." He said quietly.

He reached down his collar and pulled out the old necklace he wore. On it was inscribed the symbol of the old royal guard. He just hoped these apprentices were taught to recognize it as the sign of an ally in these times.

Raven decided to stay quiet when he saw the necklace. He let both Land and Sky out of his grasp before stepping back and watched them interact. At first he thought that the cop was here for him, especially given what he did earlier. Though surprisingly that wasn't the case at all, or at leas that's what he thinks. Hopefully things would go okay.

"...You are...a member of the royal guard of the Worlds? but i thought-" said Sea before being interrupted by Land, saying the words "THEY had thought that the old guard had, to say in ways, "kicked the bucket" or even gone "extinct" upon the "monster's" ultimate defeat." said Land, as Sea gave Land eyes filled with death stares, full of danger and daggers to go along with them before saying politely towards the officer "...Sorry for my companion's abrupt and especially rude behavior but he does make a fair point, i thought that the royal guard were disbanded upon the Heartless Xehanort's final defeat..." said Sea, Sky, upon hearing the Heartless Xehanort's name then started to blank out a little, saying to himself without anyone noticing "...Heartless...Xehanort?" just then both suddenly and shockingly, he recalled the monster he saw before when he entered a "Dive to his Heart" after Land had knocked him out previously during their battle, after recalling the Memory of the monster, Sky shook his head a little and lastly proceeded to continue listening to Sea talking with the officer, hoping to find out more about the Keysword wielders' connections to other Worlds and their authoritative figures whilst especially trying to figure out the nature of his, Sea and Land's mission, of why they were sent out away from home by their masters, given the mission that they were and must now complete it at all costs, lest Darkness should cover the entire universe itself.

Most of this was way over Nallan's head, though the symbol on Malcolm's necklace seemed remarkably familiar for whatever reason.  Maybe it was a simple sense of déjà vu, or maybe it was more, but she did not question it as much as the information regarding Heartless Xehanort.  She politely waited for a good moment to intermingle, and when she found it she upped her voice.

"I have heard word about this beast before, its name whispered to children after they do something bad to keep them in line," Nallan cut in.  All of these topics piqued her curiosity almost as much as the cult, and perhaps there was something uniting the two topics.  She hoped this would be so.  "It has been a long time since I have studied the topic, but the beast was defeated long ago, right?"

"...Correct, however, its Dark Heart was far too strong to purify with Light and so, with an unfortunate choice of options, ancient Keysword wielders from times long since past had in agreement with seven maidens belonging to seven royal bloodlines had sacrificed the Hearts of the seven maidens themselves in order to seal away the Heartless beast behind a door leading to the most everlasting Darkness that could ever exist within all of our Worlds...since we are of the latest generation of Keysword wielders, it has been foretold by a prophecy that the Heartless Xehanort would somehow return during our era and now it is up to me and both Land and Sky here to stop the Heartless Xehanort before it is too late, in order to do so, we must stop the actions of a group calling themselves the Cult of Nobodies that consider themselves an Illuminati of sorts, as seen by how they are always described wearing coats cloaked of the deepest pure blank white there is, for they are trying to revive the monster, believing that its return will bring forth ultimate salvation to the entire universe itself." said Sea, telling everyone what she was told by her Keysword master Water.

"There's still a few of left." Malcolm said, putting his necklace back under his shirt. "Though most have gotten out of the 'secret society' game for something that pays the bills."

He looked around again.

"But like I said, this isn't the place for that kind of discussion. I haven't fully figure out the Cult's sphere of influence."

He looked over at Raven.

"I was hoping your friend could help me with that."

A creeping grin swept over Nallan's face as she stared at Sea during her tale, and she folded her arms in satisfaction of being right.  The cult did have something to do with these three apprentices, and they revealed more than she likely could have found anywhere else.  Withdrawing her smile and lowering her arms to her side, she stepped up to the plate again.

"If it is this cult you all are after, you are in luck.  I too am seeking it out, and am willing to lend my sword arm and skills to stopping these "Nobodies," as you call them.  If they are desirous to raise an ancient menace, I will have no lack of enjoyment disturbing their rituals of revivification, whether or not they are able to do so.  Will you accept me?  Also, how do we find them?"

A creeping grin swept over Nallan's face as she stared at Aqua during her tale, and she folded her arms in satisfaction of being right.  The cult did have something to do with these three apprentices, and they revealed more than she likely could have found anywhere else.  Withdrawing her smile and lowering her arms to her side, she stepped up to the plate again.

(Typo error: you said Aqua.).

"...Thank you, we could really use a hand in all this, also, will you lend us your strength? former royal guard member? please...we beg of you, your strength and your experience far exceeds ours, we could really use your guiding hand in stopping the Cult of Nobodies but, as for their location...unfortunately, we do not know." said Sea, Land gritted his teeth before saying "Pass." said Land, Sea lastly replied "Huh?" said Sea, not understanding what Land means by "Pass".

"I'll certainly help you, but you may not like what I have to offer." Malcolm answered Sea after a quick look at Land. "Since I'm still in the process of tracking down leads myself. Whatever we do, we need to be patient and only strike when we are ready. We can't go charging in without a plan, and to have a plan, we need information. I'm willing to share what I have."

Taking a step back, the detective's gaze swept over Raven and Nallan.

"Though more perspectives on the subject would help." He prompted.

{Fiona/Nyx; Back Alleys}

Fiona's grip on her staff tightened as she heard another person up ahead, but it moved away, ending in the slam of a door. She relaxed a little and headed on. So, the old hag had brought them there for revenge. Up against who? The research she had been able to do indicated that anybody Nyx should have known when she was alive she had long ago turned to dust. A shiver ran down Fiona's spine at the thought of someone else like out there like the witch.

As she trekked, the young mage heard a high pitched whine from her pack. She froze for a moment, but then remembered what it was. The potion! Nyx had left it! Was it I tampered with? She unslung her pack and placed it on the ground before rifling through it for the enchanted container.

<Oh, what's this?> Nyx teased. <Another one of your failed experiments?>

Fiona ignored the witch in her head as she examined the clear bottle. The contents were a yellowish green color that bubbled slightly. Okay, that's how the tome had described it.

"If you were so sure it would fail, why did you tamper with it?" She asked, putting extra malice into her voice.

Inside her head, Nyx burst out laughing.

<You think I need to do that?> the witch taunted. <No magic can part us. You are mine, Fi.>

Fiona shivered again, but she was satisfied with the answer she had fished for. At least the blasted hag was arrogant enough to not see what her host had planned. She uncorked the bottle and held it close to her face. The smell nearly made her gag.

<Oh, smells yummy!> Nyx offered in her honey sweet voice.

Trying to hold her breath, the young mage counted to three then downed the potion in one go. After it was down, Fiona put her hand over her mouth to keep herself from throwing it up. By the stars, this was vile! After a few moments, the urge to upchuck died down, leaving her on her hands and knees, panting.

<Ugh, I can even taste it.> Nyx said. <Maybe I should stop you from drinking these for your own health.>

"Thanks for the concern." Fiona growled, then burped.

The smell and taste of it had her gagging, but she got back on her feet.

<No problem, dear.> the witch said brightly before her voice dropped to a malevolent whisper. <I'm always here for you.>

Fiona gritted her teeth as she picked up her pack and her staff. She just had to hope the potion had the desired effect.
