Venterrqua 85 Posted October 19, 2010 Hey guys, as most know that in BBS Aqua has Destinys Embrace, for some reason i think at one point that Riku saw Aqua at one point and when he got out gave Kairi the keyblade, i could be wrong but it makes sence in a way
JTD95 1,107 Posted October 19, 2010 Why would Riku take Aqua's Keyblade? Also, Aqua's Keyblade is in Radiant Garden along with her armor. Just because Riku and Aqua both has been shown holding the Destinys Embrace so doesn't that mean that it is the same Keyblade. Terra, Aqua and Ven all used for example the Hyperdrive Keyblade, but they didn't share one Keyblade, they all used three different once. Not the best explanation but, yeah... Reversal 53 Posted October 19, 2010 The second Keyblade Riku has belongs to not Aqua, but Apprentice Xehanort. Aqua's Keyblade is in the Chamber of Repose, to which neither Aqua nor Riku even know the existence of, let alone have access to. Riku, who was harboring Apprentice Xehanort's heart (Ansem SoD) at the time, was able to gain access to his Keyblade. It took the form of Destiny's Embrace because, according to the novels, of Riku's memories of home. And who else also is from Destiny Islands? Master Xehanort. Considering how Ansem SoD takes after MX, this could've influenced the appearance of the Keyblade as well. Just because two Keyblades take on the same form doesn't meant they are one in the same. KHfan1247 0 Posted October 19, 2010 no when you meet kairi as aqua when kairi hides behind aqua you know she touches aquas keyblade so that gives her the ability to use a keyblade to. so its wierd but i guess when someone touches a keyblade they can use one to. but i dont know why he just randomly had a flowery kayblade with him ? It's called the Rite of Succession. Basically, a wielder has to hold out their Keyblade to let their successor touch it. If the person performing the rite is a Keyblade Master, and and the successor has sufficient power, then the power of the Keyblade will be passed on. They will be able to wield a Keyblade, but the rite itself is more or less just a letter of recommendation towards getting a Keyblade of their own. Regarding Destiny's Embrace, again, Riku's memories of home.
guillus 3 Posted October 20, 2010 i think i already explained the power of the keychains... *looking at personal archives* AHA! Here it is: Everything about Keyblades is a mistery but im theorizing something here (correct me if im wrong): As you know in the games you can change the appearances of your keyblade using what,... KEYCHAINS! You can also see that riku can shape his keyblade into destinys embrace (Destiny Place), but how did he do it?? Ohh and not to forget the subject about the star seeker (keep that one fresh 'kay!) My point is keychains, as some of you know, are made from memories, and by changing the memory that you are holding in your heart you can change the keychain therefore changing the keyblades shape. Mickeys Star Seeker was just the format of his inicial keyblade, but like the kingdom key you could reshape it. The fact that he appears with the star seeker then kingdom key D and then star seeker again just means he now holds in his heart the time he passed as an apprentice with yen sid and ven terra and aqua (the latter in his journeys). Now to get the kingdom key D we all know he went to the realm of darkness and there he must have triggered something that gave the memory to be able to reshape his keyblade into the kingdom key D (actually i believe he met aqua and found the strenght to lock the DTD with himself inside)

KEYCHAINS! You can also see that riku can shape his keyblade into destinys embrace (Destiny Place), but how did he do it??[/quote'] Riku has two Keyblades, at least during that moment. His own, in the form of Way to Dawn, and Apprentice Xehanort's, taking on the appearance of Destiny's Embrace, due to Riku's memories of home. Now since BBS is out, and Aqua received that same keychain after meeting with Kairi, we can also say another influence of that is through his bond with Kairi. Ohh and not to forget the subject about the star seeker (keep that one fresh 'kay!)My point is keychains, as some of you know, are made from memories, and by changing the memory that you are holding in your heart you can change the keychain therefore changing the keyblades shape. We actually can't say for sure that they're made from memories, but they do influence them. Actually, I'm more inclined to say that considering the wayfinders transformed into Star Seeker's keychain in the BBS intro, that they are formed moreso through bonds. "An unbreakable connection." Mickeys Star Seeker was just the format of his inicial keyblade, but like the kingdom key you could reshape it. Mickey's Star Seeker is a loan from Yen Sid, and was eventually passed down from Master to student. His true Keyblade, the one that chose him, is Kingdom Key D. The fact that he appears with the star seeker then kingdom key D and then star seeker again just means he now holds in his heart the time he passed as an apprentice with yen sid and ven terra and aqua (the latter in his journeys). TAV really have nothing to do with it. Sora received the Star Seeker keychain after meeting with Yen Sid after all. And again, there's no indication that keychains are born from memories specifically. Now to get the kingdom key D we all know he went to the realm of darkness and there he must have triggered something that gave the memory to be able to reshape his keyblade into the kingdom key D (actually i believe he met aqua and found the strenght to lock the DTD with himself inside) Like I said, KKD chose him. It is Mickey's true Keyblade, not the Star Seeker. As for that last bit regarding Aqua and locking the door, it's still up in the air as to whether or not he did meet Aqua, but the Door to Darkness could only be locked with two hearts and two keys (you can decide for yourself as to who out of Sora, Riku, Mickey, Kingdom Key, and Kingdom Key D fulfill these requirements ^^)
